Sad to see bad reviews for such a nice people. Door was opened 5:55 and lady at front did everything possible to get my parcel early and therefore I could take my kids to Sydney. Thank you so much 😊

Waited all day for my parcels and then got messages saying that nobody was home. I was in the front room of my house with the blinds open. They didn't even come up the drive.
This was my only day off for over 2 weeks. I work 12hr days and they aren't open weekends.
Completely useless!
As someone who used to work for AusPost I am appalled by how bad things have gotten.

I have now had a second parcel "attempted delivery" but they couldn't deliver it because of my dog? My dog is in my BACK yard. What are you doing in my BACK yard?! Then it became a "we couldn't see your front door so for safety...." but my front door is clearly visible and I even sent them picture proof. Once again I will not have to take time off work just to go and pick up a parcel that should have been delivered without issue. The Australia post team truly is pathetic.

I think you need to differentiate between the postie and the staff here. The posties are hit and miss. I'm told they are independent contractors, I've had great experiences and poor ones like other people, where they've not even tried to deliver a parcel, saying they could not gain access to leave a parcel in a safe place, when we were home and our security cameras show no-one even tried to come to the front door (which can be clearly seen from the street). Auspost itself has some poor processes with untimely notifications and their complaints process is a joke; they don't even usually respond to you. The staff at Tuggeranong have been fine though. A little slow, yes, because the line is stupidly long with people lining up to collect parcels that should have been delivered. Perhaps if the postie knew they'd have to make at least two delivery attempts then they'd actually try to deliver? That way there would be less annoyed people waiting in line.

Australia Post Tuggeranong's service quality has significantly deteriorated over the past two years, with late deliveries and inconsistent door-knocking becoming increasingly frequent. Evening pickups at Reid Street are often met with unfriendly staff.

EXCELLENT SERVICE & NICE PEOPLE
I go here a lot as order most stuff online. These guys are always doing their best. Its the customers that forget the names they ordered things with, or their ID that hold them up. But I love these guys as they have always been lovely to me & try help (always plenty) of people as quickly as they can! Immense patience… cant say same for customers Ive seen as Ive queued there. Cant understand people who leave a bad review cos their parcel wasnt handed to them, why not be grateful yr parcel was safely protected? Why look at only what the bad side is? So am leaving a bona fide review to step up their rank to a 5 star as they work afterhours & very hard workers, with often rude customers. They deserve better from us customers, not complants. Support them and watch them excel!

Normally I would give this place 5 stars, however in this instance.. Word of advice to the staff. DON'T say a parcel is ready to be collected when it hasn't been sorted it causes a waste of time and frustrating for people thinking that a parcel has been delivered to turn up first thing in the morning only to be told it hasn't been sorted, even though the parcel was signed in to the depot at 4pm the afternoon before.

Also if you say you are open from 6am, how about unlocking the doors at 6am instead of 6:15 or 6:20. It's not that hard. I've seen people rock up at 6am and not be able to get in as the doors are locked. It's not like no one is in there you can certainly hear them.

Delivery arrived before date no idea till 5 minutes before I had to drop kids off to school .
No option to leave at door , and deliver went back to depot.
Can't pick it up till after 4pm.
They left a parcel last week at my door which was large but not this time.
No choice was available, dates wrong
And thanks for the 5 to 10 minutes warning on my app.

Did not attempt to deliver my parcel, despite being home all day. I checked tracking to find it had been delivered and left in a "safe place". The photo they took was a blank/black photo. My parcel is now missing. This is a common occurrence, and several complaints have been made with no improvements. There is a clear sign in my stairwell placed by strata explaining that nothing is to be left outside. Otherwise, it would be removed immediately.

*UPDATE*
I decided to contact Australia Post and make a complaint. Upon reading information on their website, I found that you can receive up to $100 compensation for certain circumstances. After many, many, many emails arguing that I had several valid reasons to request the compensation, they finally agreed to pay the $100 into my bank account, which I did receive. I'd still give them a 1 star rating.
