She charged me for my own packaging! I got quoted yesterday for $24 from St Peter’s post office. Her co-worker/brother/partner put it on the scales and also quoted me $24. Took the sticky label away to fill out and she tried to charge me $36. Then compromised at $30. It’s my nieces birthday in 3 days so I didn’t have much choice, plus I rolled my ankle so it was painful to get around. I feel ripped off.

Yestarday around 4:40 pm,
The gentleman who assisted me (SAM), as he introduced himself when I asked for his name to provide feedback on his poor customer service, seemed somewhat agitated. His tone of voice was elevated, and he lacked manners and respect towards customers.

While I understand that dealing with difficult customers can be challenging at times (which wasn't my case), I was simply trying to understand the process for obtaining a refund to the same address.

It's sad and disappointing that individuals working in customer service lack the delicacy needed for effective, clear, and respectful communication with the customers and still representing the Australian Post Office.

A bit dissapointed that the post office is closed due to an event but it says open on the google. Could have changed it to close for today. Rather than just sticking a paper on the door .

Went to make a return, I provided the number and then they told me it was not valid. An hour later I received an email saying the return was being processed as if I dropped the parcel but it never happened. Very frustrating

Went in for a passport application, with no appointment on a Saturday, just before closing as I saw this is one of the few post offices still open on a Saturday!

Saba was super helpful and friendly, I couldn’t believe that he even stayed back just to get the job done rather than turn me away. I highly recommend this place.

I think this place gets unfair ratings. Yes, the service ain’t service with a smile, but honestly, it’s part of the charm. The team here always knows what to do and gets it done. They also offer a million different services which is nice. Looking for a smile? Go elsewhere. Looking for a team that actually knows what they’re doing? Go here!

Store staff are usually Ok but the delivery drivers are terrible. Today they complained about having to come up to my level and wanted to leave the package at the foyer. It was a heavy delivery and the postie even struggled to pick it off the trolley. He berated me for not having a partner or someone else to help. I wonder if they treat eldery and less abled people this way too.
