Foul service. The less than polite woman from the post office who assured me she owned it wasn't at all friendly. Perhaps she didn't recognize a local, or whatever the case may have been but her immediate words as i stepped into the post office for the first time in over 10 years as i have lived in Canowindra for over 20 years was to tell me to not overtake" the others in the queue with an EXCUSE ME ", um OK settle down.... I think if shes so worried about covid she should take her job-keeper and stay at home and allow a friendlier more capable staff member take care of the shop. Also perhaps since there is more square meterage than the comparable 4 people she was allowing in her shop at a time she could move the trinkets cabinet at the front door which atm is most unnecessary and clearly taking up space as people have to stay out in the cold upon arriving due to the junk she stores in the shop. Truly you're obviously loving the high horse position that this covid authority gives you. But most unnecessary, no wonder people go to Cowra to do their business. Shame.. its a gorgeous little town that needs people to come back regularly to stay viable. The town has fluctuated in and out of near collapse with more than 1 drought in close succession and more. Just be kind and treat people with the same respect as you'd like to be treated with. I could have been kinder to you, granted, but it was just your reflection thrown back at you and seemingly you got a little upset sassy.
do better be better your town deserves it..
