My wife and I have been to this post office 20 times in the past two years and every time John gives the impression of not wanting to be helpful and that customers are an inconvenience. Margaret on the other hand is more helpful and has a nicer personality.
Also the wait times and lodgement times are extremely long compared to other Post offices such as Kurri, Singleton and Cessnock that we have used on many occasions.

Terrible service ALL THE TIME. Anything I post always costs more than it does at the Cessnock post office. Always and I mean ALWAYS made to feel like you’ve inconvenienced them by daring to enter!

If I could give this post office a lower star rating I would. Extremely rude staff. Move extremely slow yet have the audacity to make you feel like an extreme burden on their day with your presence in the store. John has no good customer service and is extremely rude and unhappy to give his services. John also refuses to do services at certain hours even if your in the post office in the working 9-5 hours and despite having to wait up to an hour when only 5 people are in front of you. Would highly recommend avoiding this post office if you don’t want to have a terrible day.

This is a great little Post Office. The staff are so helpful & friendly. I found they are prepared to go the extra mile to help me. I would rather go there than to another PO that is closer to where I live. Thank you so much John & Margaret. You are an asset to the Branxton community.

Friday 13th October is 20th year for John & Margaret, have been the Operators of the Branxton Post Office 2003 - 2023.

Passport to Banking & PLO - one of the True Pillers of Businesses the Branxton Community can Be Proud of, in Black Creek Village 1820 - 1848 : Branxton 1848 to Now.
Thank you John & Margaret for being there for thr Community & Villages around Branton for the Last 20 years.

Love this little post office and the husband and wife team that run it. Nothing is too much trouble, they've helped us organise sending parcels interstate during covid, today helped us with a large coin deposit and promoted their other banking services available. They never rush you or make you feel a burden. We drive past our local post office 2 minutes from home to Branxton because the experience isn't comparable. Branxton is lucky to have them.
