Been using this post office for the last 10 years for parcel pick up. The last time I had two big and heavy parcels they helped me carry one to my car. That's good service!

Reviews that give this post office a low rating for issues with other areas of AusPost seems unfair to me.

The staff are great in the post office and are really helpful. The only problem I have is the parcel delivery if you even call it that. They will never deliver the parcel to your door unless it can fit inside your letter box. The delivery driver is obviously very antisocial as they prefer to take packages directly to the post office and claim the “attempted” delivery. Sometimes the delivery driver even leaves a card making it seem like they tried to do their job. I don’t even know why I even bother paying for delivery anymore. From now on I will get my parcels to be delivered to the box hill central post office for collection as at least that post office is closer to where I live. Thanks a lot Australia post for not doing your only job.

The post office closes at 1 pm on Saturday and I arrived there at 1 pm. The staff were so friendly and served me with a smile. Thank you for your great service 😊

Staff quite hopeless and rude, disinterested and take no notice of what you're asking.

Couriers rarely attempt to deliver, rather just leave slip for pick up and then you have to wait over 24 hours to be able to collect your package.

Local postie on bike is very nice!

I go up the road and use the Kerrimuir post office, much better.

I assume it is a private courier service that works with this AusPost location...The issue is that this parcel delivery courier never attempts to deliver parcels to our household. Instead he drops off the "parcel for pick-up" slip on our door. We are home every single time when this happens, he doesn't bother to ring the door bell to deliver our package directly to us. Please call him out on this. We assume this is a way for him to cut corners and make his commission despite completely inconveniencing us, the customer.
Please understand, when we pay postage for delivery, we very well should expect the delivery courier to do his one job...to deliver our parcel. Not have us, instead, do his work for him.
This courier obviously drops off all parcels for pickup at this AusPost location, so im sure the staff are familiar with him coming in every day for parcel drop offs.
Please have someone cite this courier and inform him that we as residents of Box Hill require him to deliver our parcels, not cut corners and tip toeing around our properties, just to have faster turnaround and avoiding his work duties.

I just have 2 simple questions

1. Why is it so hard for you guys to ring the bell and check if there’s someone at home expecting the delivery?

2. How do I suppose to know my parcel is in the post office and awaiting for collection if you guys don’t update my tracking process, don’t leave a collection card in my email box, even don’t send me a message? Are you guys expecting I find out by myself until my parcel has been send back?
