Attie Creek Falls is a rewarding destination, but be prepared for a bit of a climb! The walk to the falls is relatively short but can be quite steep in sections. It's definitely a leg workout, but the payoff is absolutely worth it.
Once you reach the falls, you're greeted with truly beautiful views. The water cascades down into a lovely pool, surrounded by lush greenery. It's a fantastic spot for a refreshing dip and to simply soak in the natural beauty of the area. The air feels fresh, and the sounds of the waterfall are incredibly peaceful.
However, there's one thing you absolutely need to be aware of: the mosquitoes! They can be quite relentless, especially closer to the water and in the shadier areas. Make sure you come armed with a good quality insect repellent. Long sleeves and pants might also be a good idea, especially if you're planning on spending some time there.
Despite the small, steep walk and the pesky mosquitoes, Attie Creek Falls is a must-see. The beautiful views and the chance to swim in such a picturesque setting make it a memorable experience. Just remember to pack your repellent!

Absolutely beautiful swimming spot. The walk up to the falls was about 700m and a bit steep in spots. Care needed to be taken on the way back down but it was worth it. We were lucky the falls were running after the recent rain. It was a gorgeous view but take care with the slippery rocks. No bins or facilities at the top so just take water up and any rubbish back down!

Stunning, worth the walk up! And it’s pet friendly πŸ™ŒπŸΎ(so long as they don’t mind a bit of an uphill trek)
An easy drive on dirt road. The water is freezing but absolutely worth seeing πŸ‘ŒπŸ’™

Absolutely beautiful! A short but steep walk up to the waterfall but definitely worth it, nice spot for a swim. The drive in is an unsealed road but fairly smooth.

Seasonal waterfall so remember it’s only best to visit during the wet season! Visited in December and it was flowing!

The 700m hike to the top has some steep steps and is incline most of the way. However they are solid steps and there are hand rails so if you take your time I’m confident most people could manage as well as kids (but it may be a challenge!)
For most people though it’s a quick race to the top and well worth the effort 😍😍

What a beautiful little spot. It was the beginning of July when I went here and it was not too hot.

The 700 metre walk to the bottom of the top falls is well worth the cardio exercise.

The pools at the base are inviting, just make sure that you take all the necessary precautions and follow the information on the sign boards. This is not your local pool, or beach with lifeguards, and you alone are responsible for your safety.

I'm sure that there are not many people that have visited here that have noticed that when leaving the falls you can actually see the islands off the coast. (There are no other falls that I've been to on the eastern seaboard where you can see islands off the coast from the

The lower cascades are nice for those less abled however neither waypoints in this part of your journey are wheelchair accessible. (For this there are other waterfalls and cascades)

**Caveats
This is a natural creek which is subject, very much so, to the rain which feeds it.

The stairs are many, steep, uneven and make up a very large percentage of the 700 metre walk.

Be responsible for your own actions.

Don't become a burden on emergency services.

Do not jump/dive into any water, especially natural creeks or rivers.

Respect nature and the Indigenous land upon which you are walking.

Take nothing but memories.

Leave absolutely nothing.

Take out what you take in. Your mother is not there to clean up after you.

Don't spoil this spot for those that follow.

Enjoy your life πŸ™‚

My sport watch said 500m one way.
It took 7min on a fast walking pace with normal sport shoes. Flip Flops possible but would advised against it.
The dip in was definitely worth it and the view was great. We were there in March and had plenty of water.

A truly gorgeous spot with a few different falls/cascades.
To get to the top falls, it's a 1.4km round trip... uphill.
There are a couple of picnic tables, and it would make a lovely spot to stop for lunch or a cuppa.
