Sad food for a high price. They can charge what they want when there’s nothing else to eat in the area i suppose, and all the hospital cafes owned by the same company = nothing good to eat unfortunately. I really have given the food a number of tries since they opened, but its always disappointing and expensive. I know i sound harsh, but the quality for the price just doesn’t match, sorry

Modern and clean cafe but in terms of food....absolutely woeful! A soggy sausage roll that was probably left over from yesterday. The fillings fell apart, the whole damn roll broke into pieces....worst and saddest sausage roll I have ever encountered 😖

If you like burnt or soggy food then this is the place for you.
With limited choices at the hospital I would recommend the chip machine over ordering here.
First attempt to toast a ham and cheese scroll was burnt, second was microwaved and terrible. Thrown in the bin.
Hard when this is the only alternative for patients at night.

4.2 - Clean and efficient Coffee shop in the new Rusty Priest building. I tried the Ravioli, which was quite nice, and the Cheese & Spinach Filo. Staff are kind and patient, and there are aesthetically pleasing eating areas and an overall Atrium feeling in this area that serves as a connection between buildings. So many goodies to choose from - healthier looking pizzas, bread rolls, Pastas, sausage rolls and pies, sushi rolls, croissants, and desserts.

This was the last place I expected to get a full bodied, strong coffee at! I recommend the Cinnamon Scroll also, it isn't sickly sweet and has a great wholemeal taste.
I'll definitely return.
PS... Avoid Concordia cafe, which is situated next to the pharmacy outside of the main entrance. The fool with the blank, idiotic expression (that prepares coffee) expects disabled folk with walking frame to stand and wait instead of him walking a mere 20 feet to bring the beverage and food to the table!

2 out of 5 for the following reasons:
Stale muffins. I asked
If the muffin was fresh baked, the young lady said (falsely) yes. When I arrived home this muffin crumbled, indicating It was not fresh ( fresh muffins are traditionally moist). On this basis , two out of five.

Service: Fast and friendly - But I don't trust people who lie and say muffins are fresh when they're clearly not.

Coffee: Super - sweet. Ok - Not bad for a hospital café. 3/5.

X-factor: situated inside of Concord - great architecture.

Hospital- atrium. Spacious and aesethic views over Concord ( go to the window area).

Prices: ok for the area.
