More than an place to stay, Mel and Adam's place is an experience! It was everything you see in the photos and then some. We only stayed one night and although we initially had plans of going out to eat, the place was so amazing that we wound up ordering in so we could enjoy the vibe and explore all the treats and details, from the gumball machine with candy in it to the retro games and the record player. Aside from all of the amazing extras, all the "basics" were covered too--the place was very clean and the hosts were super responsive (and friendly) when we arrived to make sure we made it in okay. The washer and dryer were also a life saver for people like us on a road trip. A highly memorable stay, which I couldn't recommend more highly! Thanks for everything!

One of my most favorite Airbnb stays EVER! The bed is super comfy, the kitchen is well stocked and the shower pressure is fantastic. We stayed for 11 nights and couldn’t have been happier. And all the quirky extras make this special place a truly unique haven to enjoy!!!

Mel & Adam are a Rockstar couple who have thought of every little detail to make your stay uniquely comfortable. Don’t question - just book!!!

This is the best Airbnb we have stayed at! It is so funky and fun. The hosts are very accommodating and lovely and respond always within minutes. Everything you will need is provided for you and the place is very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back 🙂

It’s an amazing place had everything we needed plus more! Beautiful & bright, fresh & amazingly clean! It also smelt divine . Fully air conditioned washer dryer dish washer & we arrived to a beautiful platter of dip cheese meats & crackers plus a bottle of wine & chocolates. Nothing has been missed there was everything we needed they have really put in such an effort they haven’t missed a thing. Beautiful crisp white sheets & quilts. Location was so good we walked to Beaumont Street & we also could walk to the Light Rail & went into Newcastle. Definitely be staying here again beats staying in a hotel room.

Atomic Hideaway is an awesome space close to just about everything, The rooms were spotlessly clean , the bed super comfortable and the neighborhood very friendly.
Mel has her kitchen and bathroom well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had a absolutely fantastic few days and we would certainly recommend it to other travelers.

Could not recommend staying here enough! Not only is the Airbnb beautiful, Adam and Mel were so accommodating and helpful in our time of need. The accommodation is kept pristine with lots of extra vintage quirks to look at as well but it was how they attended to us that was the stand out point. Thank you so much for such a great experience in a really cool space!
