Only stayed two nights but was a wonderful hotel! Great gym that I pretty much had to my self. really nice rooms with awesome views of Canberra. Unfortunately it was way too cool for the pool (although I still hopped in) biggest mistake of my life. The spa wasn’t running but I’m sure it would be even better if it was. One problem we had was that they didn’t give us an address of where the hotel was, they just said it was on this street across from a casino which was helpful but not helpful enough as the hotel didn’t have a big name anywhere. They also didn’t really tell us how to get in of where to get in. This problem may have just been us… so please I would still highly recommend this place

We stayed here for 3 weeks whilst waiting to move into our new apartment. The accommodation was excellent - clean, bright and quiet, with great views of the trees/hills. The amenities were excellent - the pool was lovely. The location is great - very next to the city centre. We had a problem with the washing machine in the first couple of days which was dealt with very quickly. Thank you to Rebecca and Thomas for making our stay go so smoothly - you were great!

We recently stayed here for a family holiday. I could not fault it at all. Great location near the Canberra CBD, near the shopping centre which was great for all your shopping needs. The apartment was so clean it was fantastic. Great view to the mountains and so peaceful considering it was right in the heart of the CBD. ||Good size rooms. Hall all your kitchen needs for the nights you wanted to dine in. Plenty of undercover parking. ||This place an awesome pool. Great BBQ area. Great gym.||We were really happy with our stay and would stay with them again.

Prime position being so close to the city centre, basically a few steps closer than the Crowne. Even the gym was better than the crown ironically. Water pressure was unreal in the showers I even had to dial it down slightly.

The only fault I can really find is that you can hear street noise like cars speeding through the city but that dies off about 11pm

Being on the 14th floor gave great views south of Canberra and facilities were very good. No reception desk was a surprise but was not a problem. Standard of the room was very good and the size of the shared floor space felt just right. Surrounding outside parks and and cafe was a bonus.

A 5 day visit with friends.||||Met by Christian on arrival and shown the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.||||A spacious and well set-up living area slightly let down by the second bedroom which is small and contains two small single beds, suitable for children but not ideal for adults used to more spacious sleeping conditions. No side table for one bed.||||The bathrooms are of a high standard with excellent walk in shower.||||A big let-down was the TV which was described as state-of-the-art but contained no satellite channels, only free-to-air. This was the first occasion in our recent experience that the channel choice was so restricted. Netflix available on payment.||||The apartment arrangements were strictly 'no service' which was acceptable except we had expected a more generous supply of towels, just one large one each and one hand towel to be shared. One soap and one toilet roll, no replacements.||||Good wifi. Parking for a hire car available.||||The Manhattan Apartments are very well situated with a short walk to a major shopping centre.||||An ideal place for a two-child family but four adults should be aware fo the 'tight' sleeping arrangements for two.

Brilliant location, underground car park, amenities in apartment to feel at home. Roomy accommodation, air conditioning, swimming pool, friendly and informative introduction to location and apartment by Christian from Astra Apartments.||||Right across the road from a lovely park, and just around the corner from major Canberra shopping centre in Civic. Could walk to shops and restaurants (and there was plenty to choose from!). Wonderful view from 12th floor (roomy) balcony across to War Memorial and Mt Ainslie. Soundproof accommodation.

Spacious apartments with great kitchen facilities, within five minutes (or less) walking distance to excellent restaurants, supermarkets and a cinema in Canberra City. Everything you need is literally up the street. ||The building is 10 minutes drive from the Parliamentary Precinct, five minutes drive from Rusell Offices, so well located for those doing business with the Government. ||The apartments are also very close to major tourist attractions such as the Australian War Memorial and National Museum and perfectly located for a leisurely walk around Lake Burley-Griffin. ||Quiet rooms, good pool, spa, a well-equipped gym, extremely secure access to the building and a secure car parking seal the deal. Worth the price for long or short stays.
