Best. Service. Ever.

I walked in with a very obtuse brief of “I need more clothes” and that was all that was needed to solve my problem.

Andrew provided 6-star service making sure I got the correct fit and style for all my purchases.

His knowledge of the immense stock range in the store (right down to the specific makeup of the fabric of the jeans!) was incredible.

He insisted I try everything on to confirm fit and re-try shoes to compare sizes and similar styles for the best fit.

I cannot recommend Asset’s and the service I received from Andrew highly enough.

I walked out happy and satisfied a box of clothes to solve my need and keep me warm!

Superb range and the service is unbelievably good. My Canterbury shorts came the next day and the ones I ordered from Canterbury took two weeks. Assefs have a better range and a better service.

The front counter staff was friendly and very helpful. Section staff don't listen. I made it clear that I wanted size 10 AU sizing for my shoes but they still sold me size 10 US. I didn't have my glasses with me so I could not check for myself. Thanks for the $100 sore feet. At least the T-Shirt fits. I wont ever be back, there is too much competition in town and online.
It is true that I did try the shoes on but I thought that the shoes would stretch, as they often do when I buy size 10 AU. Clearly I walked out with US sizing and therefore they were never going to fit. The owners response (below) is exactly what I expected. They blocked me from replying and also blocked me on Facebook. That's fine. I'm not done. I am a programmer, and I can make this appear everywhere. The shoes have a hole in the rear corner. One is almost perfectly round. The other is more worn.
I was not placing the blame entirely on Assef's. Obviously I should have asked the friend I was with to check the shoe for me, given I was not able to read the tag. The 2 staff members could have listened properly. I asked the lady at the front counter as well as the person that served me.
Locals tell me that they shop online because of the same type of frustrations.

Went in looking for some jeans, Andrew was very helpful and found me exactly what I needed, nothing was a problem.
My partner was looking around and remarked how lovely everyone was and how well stocked the place was and that was before she found the kitchenware section, Dan looked after us very well and we left the store with far more than we expected to.
Assef’s is a place out of time, service and availability like that is not that common anymore, it was a good experience.
