Wonderful stay at Argadells a few weekends ago on our annual trip to the Flinders Ranges.
We stayed at the Overseers Cottage, very clean and comfortable, beds with electric blankets, inside and outdoor fireplaces.
Shoutout to host, Mark, who gave us a lovely welcome and good advice on hiking tracks on the property.
One afternoon we hiked from Hannimans Gorge along the fence line to South Gorge, through the gorge, with rock pools from a 13mm rain the day before and then back to our starting point. 6km in distance.
The following day we hiked up to Mt Arden. We started at Hannimans Gorge, went via the Springs, then followed the 4wd track up to the summit. We then headed north along the Ridge and descended via a very steep track through to Jack's and Noodies campsites and back to our starting point.
17km hike over 6 hours.
We have stayed in many places over 20 years of exploring the Flinders, and this was one of the best!
Highly recommended!
We will be back for sure!

Awesome experience camping 2 nights with the kids at South Gorge - didn't see another human the whole time we were there and we did some hikes up and over the range. Saw rock wallabies in their natural environment. There ain't nothing like a camp fire at 6:30am when it is zero degrees and the sun comes up over the range. Very well maintained camp site. Highly recommended and good value.

This is a great venue for bush camping and some 4WD action. We stayed for 5 nights. Hosts are efficient and friendly. Tracks are graded according to ability. Green, yellow and red.

Beautiful countryside, peaceful, well set out camp sites and a great self contained location for bush walking and 4wd ing.

Wood supplied is plentiful and well worth the price.

Well thought out camp sites that don't pack you in like sardines. There are options for as little or as many amenities as you want depending on your needs. Easily accessible by 2wd for those who don't 4wd, but there are plenty of 4wd tracks too and you can explore the amazing landscape freely on foot. This place showcases some of the most amazing scenery that Australia has to offer. The amenities that we used were were well maintained and spotlessly clean. This is a must visit location.

What an amazing station property! For those just wanting to camp - ✔️- you can have a wonderful time resting and enjoying this beautiful place in one of the variety of camp sites with a long drop dunny available for your... Needs. Caravanning? ✔️ There's places for that too. Prefer cabins with shower blocks --- ✔️✔️ Argadells can provide this too. Private sites, or group bookings... And the icing on the cake? 4WD-ing, cycling and walking adventures all over the property. About a 4hr drive north of Adelaide, you'll see sights and experience great Australian beauty in all of its perfect forms!

I have 4×4 driving in various clubs in gippsland and snowy mts. And elsewhere but have never seen such
Majestic naturally wild awesome country as I saw at Argadells.If anyone owns a good 4×4 you have not seen the best of the tracks at Argadells, you are missing out of the best this country offers

Awesome 4wd track and stunning views however map is extremely difficult to follow and signage is lacking. Spent half our day lost but still enjoyed the tracks.
