Just spent three nights here. Room clean and very comfortable, well equipped with the basics we needed…..fridge, toaster, kettle, large tv, air conditioner….. looks and feels recently renovated. Personable friendly service. Close to beach as well as to supermarket, bakery, fish & chip shops, pharmacy, great restaurant, club, etc…… so very well located for a motel not in the centre of Batemans Bay. Has got different sized rooms. Ours was just right for the two of us. We would certainly stay here when we travel through again.

We had a wonderful stay at this motel! The room was clean and tidy, which made for a very comfortable visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to the carnival, which made it so much fun to be able to easily walk over and enjoy the rides and attractions. The motel also has a nice pool, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. We came as a couple, but I can see this being a great spot for families too—it’s a safe, welcoming place for all. Everything you need is within reach, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to stay. We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and hassle-free getaway!

Excellent service nothing to hard to ensure your stay is the best no problem to much. Great location central to best beaches. Staff helpful good local knowledge of fishing spots and beaches. Rooms clean with spare pillows and blankets. Car parking out front of your room and rates good for extended stay.

Stayed 3 nights. Comfortable, clean, well equipped rooms that appear to have been refurbished in recent past. Close to supermarket, eateries, club, beach….just a great location for us. Personable, friendly service. Will definitely stay here if coming this way again.

Julie is a legend. I only stay here because it is perfect. Best beds, locality is perfect. I stayed here for a week on vacation and now for work. Forget Batemans Bay - come across to The Araluen at Batehaven. You won't be disappointed! I'll be back for sure.

The location is unbeatable. Situated right in front of the beach, I enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves and breathtaking ocean views. It's also conveniently close to the new mountain bike trails, which was perfect for an adventure enthusiast like me. After a day of biking, it was great to have the town and a variety of charming cafes just a short stroll away.

Loved the long bench for luggage, drawers for extra bedding, open clothes hanging. Hated the thin toilet paper which I think is false economy because we use so much more of it. Good power points, nice tables, full sized fridge, sink, dishrack.

My favourite place to stay when in Batehaven. Great rooms and the staff are just lovely. Super close to the Batehaven shops, park and beach. Book direct if you can. It makes a huge difference to small businesses too and these folks are tops.
