Aquafun at Avoca Lagoon is an absolute gem for a family day out! Whether you're looking to paddle solo or hop on a family-sized paddleboard, this is the spot for some water-filled fun.

The staff? Simply amazing—so friendly and helpful, they make everything a breeze. The lake is stunning, and we were lucky to enjoy it on a day with perfect weather. The prices are just right, and safety is well taken care of—life jackets are provided, and they're essential if you're not a confident swimmer.

What makes it even better are the picnic spots scattered around, complete with benches where you can sit back and soak it all in. Our family had an exhilarating time here, filled with laughter and great memories. This place has our hearts—we'll definitely be back!

Absolutely worth a stop. Staff are so lovely and friendly and were super helpful. So my patience and was so happy to help with whatever equipment the kids wanted. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing time on the pedal boat and people who run it are warm and helpful. The river is so long with many places to go, we haven't explored it all so keen to return for sure some day! Fitted the whole family, all 5 of us. Best value for money too.

We had a fantastic time yesterday with our family on the huge inflatable stand up paddle board!! It held 8 adults comfortably and with Nick and Mick’s expert guidance paddled our way around the island. So much fun and thanks for a great experience!!

Super cool place to have heaps of fun. You can go paddle boating , kayaking. Lots of water sports and then can head to Avoca beach to have a nice dip.
We enjoyed our paddle boating, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Super cool guys.
The amazing part to witness is that one side is the lake and to other side is the sea. Never had I seen lake and beach together.
Visit is a must !!

We hired the paddle boat for two people and paddled around the lake through the channel.Its very family friendly with shallow spots for swimming making it perfect for children.You can hire a variety of boards, kayaks, and paddle boats for 2 or 4. We hired for half an hour and it was plenty as we paddled around a little island.The lake was closed off to the beach due to sand bars.We saw some fish splashing out of the water and there where also fisherman around.We also saw some really large mosquitos trying to bite us as we paddled around.

Awesome 2 days hiring different equipment from AquaFun. Tried the pedal bikes and kayaks. So much fun. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful shade spots for spectators and great for a swim afterwards. Plenty of parking, toilets on site ... Definitely be back!
