2 Weeks trip from Melbourne to Perth. Pick up in Melbourne very friendly and competent. Trip was without a hitch, van performed easy. Slept well on the bed, cooking was a sinch, second battery was always charged from driving and solar panel. Economical to run for the vehicle size. About 10.7L/100. Drop off was very quick and friendly. Our contact Feden was very friendly and personal. All together a great experience.

Our camper (LDV, Euro Mini) was totally nice and we had nothing to complain. We got the money back for the things that we had to buy along the way because they were missing (like a pan and coffee bialetti). We made the camper quite cosy too. The Apollo team even helped us during the tour when we lost the adapter to our grey water hose. But we only give 4 stars because of the service at the office in Perth. We had to wait several hours before we could hit the road (return was faster). They are totally understaffed and I really hope that it get’s better. Because those people who are holding it together have to deal with really impatient and unfriendly tourists. But thanks a lot for another trip of our lives!

Perfect first-timer experience with Apollo!

Rented the Apollo Euro Plus for 6 nights in mid August 2024. The whole experience was seamless. Booking was fast and efficient. I even made a mistake and booked 1 day too early but Apollo rectified it immediately after I emailed them. On the day we collected the vehicle, the staff explained everything in such detail and we got settled in our campervan right away! 6 nights with our vehicle and it had everything we needed. All kitchen equipment were provided with 2 bedsheets, pillowcases, towels and basic cleaning supplies. Returns were so quick and easy too. 100% recommend!

I had the most amazing experience renting a motorhome with Apollo Camper in Perth, and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made for our trip! From the moment we arrived until the end of our journey, the service was outstanding and exceeded all of our expectations.

Initially, we had a small issue with the motorhome we had booked, as the Bluetooth wasn't working properly. However, the Apollo team went above and beyond to switch us to another vehicle as quickly as possible, without any hassle. The attention to detail and dedication from every staff member was truly remarkable.

I’d like to give special mention to a few people who made our experience even better: Zee, who was incredibly helpful and assisted in finding my brother's lost phone with a lot of patience; the cheerful and positive "blonde girl" (sorry I can’t recall her name, but her infectious energy made all the difference!), who made the entire process smooth and enjoyable; and the manager (again, I don’t know her name, but she had short blonde hair), who was so kind and caring with our entire family, always smiling and ready to assist with any detail.

Thanks to the attention, efficiency, and warmth of this team, we made wonderful memories during our trip. The motorhome itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for exploring the Perth area. I have no doubt that Apollo Camper played a huge part in making our trip so special.

I wholeheartedly recommend Apollo Camper to anyone planning a motorhome trip in Australia. Their service and hospitality are truly top-notch!

We had an amazing time exploring WA in our 4x4. Overall I would recommend but we did have some challenges with the rental. First off please give yourself plenty of time to pick up your vehicle. It was Saturday so I am sure it was busy but the process took a long time for everyone it seemed. However ours was even more challenging. They said our vehicle was not ready and kept saying 5 more minutes as the hour started to turn into 2 we asked to speak to a manager as we knew there was more to it they just didn’t want to fully keep us in the loop. The manager who was very nice said that they had a mechanical issue and were trying to fix it or get another one from a near by lot. We had over a 3 hour drive that day still to do so we were getting concerned. They had offered another couple access to a truck so they could go grocery shopping as their vehicle was also not ready. We asked why we were not given that option, after discussing with the manager she got us a vehicle to use to do our shopping while they got our vehicle. While shopping they called to let us know our vehicle was ready. In total it took about 4 hours to get our vehicle. After picking it up we hit the road, the next day after driving just over 4.5 hours total our drive shaft completely fell off leaving us in the middle of the outback. We called the help number and they were very friendly and quick to get us help. Luckily a tow truck was able to come asap but unfortunately 1.5 hours from where we just came. After having it towed back luckily the tow truck driver was able to fix it (the bolts holding the drive shaft had completely fell out) so off we went again back the 1.5 hours we had now driven for the 3rd time. After checking my email it appears they said they had been able to fix our original vehicle, not sure if this was an original issue or something else but clearly the vehicle was not thoroughly checked, we also had a blinker out. I will say the manager and all employees were very friendly I just feel like they were overly busy and just trying to get people out. They did offer us a discount for our delay for the day we picked it up and also for the day we lost due to mechanical issues. I would still recommend as it was still an overall amazing way to see Western Australia just make sure you give yourself enough time for pick up and be prepared to handle any major delays.

An updated review since we started driving; we needed to pay 7700$ of deposit! And about 9000$ for the Motorhome. Think that’s way too much for what you get from Apollo/thl. First you should know that the check in needed us 2 hours until we got a staff talking to us, you can imagine how long it needed until we got the car. we needed to change the first car because of a broken AC. We lost one day of driving, cause we needed to change the car and drive back to Perth as we headed to a campsite 3 hours away (we need to go from Perth all the way to cairns so loosing one day means really much for us) and also money that we already spent for our campsite. They didn’t even say sorry. And as a thank you we got back a “new” totally dirty car, you can also see that on some the pictures, just an impudence. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the dirty mirror used from the people before us. They told me they can not give me a discount I need to write an email to thl. Since then I didn’t hear back from them even though there were other things going on with the car on top of that. We had a broken roof window, like you see on the pictures and videos, it was always opening itself while we were driving every 3 minutes. Also at the same time right before the Nullarbor plain we noticed that our supply batterie was broken, it was always going off power after 2 1/2 hours being unpowered. The third thing was that while we were driving, our antenna was just flying away and broke off the roof. The fourth thing was the left front door, where the door is leaky because of the seal so it always sounded like the door is gonna fly away. We lost our second day of driving in Esperance, because there they needed to get everything fixed, now we have a new supply batterie, the window button is blocked so that it’s not opening itself anymore while driving and the antenna hole on the roof is closed for now. Also in that moment we mentioned to Apollo on road care, that our tire on the left front side is not set properly. The suspension is not set so that the tire (like you see on the pictures) is in the middle ok but not on the outside! There it’s totally worn. We texted Apollo a day before we arrived in Sydney and it needed them 3 days to answer us. But then we already needed to carry on driving as we needed to drive our way to cairns and already lost 2 days. Also they mentioned that it’s our fault with the tire and we needed pay for them. After i explained everything again, they told us that we MAYBE discuss about a refund and we should keep the receipt. It’s just so disappointing what you get here for your money.

Loved the Apollo euro mini van, a great experience , perfect size van for 2 weeks for 2 adults , plenty of storage room . Easy to drive . Just need a step to get into van. Thankyou a great holiday .

We had a great experience with our Apollo camper. The vehicle was well-equipped and made our trip very enjoyable. There were a few minor issues, but the excellent customer service – especially from Morena – quickly and efficiently resolved everything. Thank you for your support and friendly approach! We would definitely recommend.
