This is a very nice viewpoint along Apex Drive on Mt. Clarence in Albany. There is parking space for 4-5 vehicles along with a viewing deck to the north. You will see Middleton Beach, Emu Beach, Albany township as well as the King George Sound quite well. Worth a few minutes stop over if driving the roads up Mt. Clarence and Mt. Aldelaide and the Albany Heritage Park.

Apex Lookout is the place for all those view hungry photographers. This offers you a stunning views of the beach, islands, and mountains in the background. You also get to know the history behind this lookout. There are only 5 marked parking bays, so on the busy day you have to park somewhere. There are lots of tourist attractions around. You can also hike to this point.

This memorial in my opinion, has to be the most outstanding tribute to our ANZAC forces.

Great city view of Albany. You may have the chance to see the lizards taking the sunny shower under the wooden terrace.
