Great place to stop for dinner, friendly and accomodating staff. Food was hot and fresh. The pork special was delicious. Nice quiet place with a good atmosphere. Will be returning.

Terrible Terrible Steak!
This is a $42.00 meal !
I don't mind paying this or more for a steak but it was terrible.
I would liken it to an over cooked sizzle steak from Coles.
Please management, I hope this is in your control to change.
I asked for medium rare, the steak was over cooked and tasted stewed, it had no flavour at all and the sauce was very average.
The broccolini was cold and this meal was too be severed with potatoes !
To the staff, they are wonderful and friendly and attentive.
To the manager, he did take off $10.
It is a shame as it genuinely is a nice spot to dine with lovely staff.

I ate here as I was staying at the attached John Pirie Motor Inn. The chicken schnitzel was around $26 which includes your choice of sauce or gravy. It was nicely cooked but the serving size was small and could have been bigger. It wasn't great value. The chips could have been cooked a bit more to be crisper.

Expensive for the quality of the food. Steak was over cooked and covered in pepper, vegetables were undercooked (like almost solid). They forgot the chips. The service was pleasant but the waitress very young and inexperienced. The bill was $112 for two steaks and two drinks. We wouldn't go again. The atmosphere was nice and the place itself clean and pleasant.

We were travelling through Port Pirie and looked to see if there was any offers in the Entertainment book. This restaurant was listed so we had dinner here and it was the best meal we’ve had in the 18 days that we’ve been on the road. We both had the Atlantic Salmon with crispy potatoes, hollandaise sauce,broccolini and Cos lettuce fried. We had Halloumi for entree which was delicious. Flavours were 10/10! Located in a quiet street with easy parking. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed, we ordered a chicken burger and parmi to go. They were extremely over priced for the size of the food, the parmi wouldn't of been bigger than the diameter of a cup / my palm and tasted off. The chicken burger was tiny but didn't get finished due to its poor taste. Wish it wasn't so expensive for a wasted meal.

Medium steak is blue. Broccolini on 4x steak meals was raw. Rump steak that was ordered for x3 came out as scotch fillets. Hour 20 minutes until food service.. nice wine. We won’t be returning unfortunately. Lovely floor staff though, chef needs an upgrade. All up well over $300 and left unsatisfied. The salt/pepper calamari and the onion rings were nice.
