We recently had the pleasure of working with AWE (Angela White Events) to organize our dream wedding, and I must say that she truly exceeded all my expectations. From the initial consultation to the grand finale, her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to making our special day perfect were outstanding.
We were referred to Angela White Events (AWE) from a co-worker of mine. I was looking for a week of coordinator, as I am a very hands on bride but wanted to make sure I had the security of knowing a wedding coordinator would be there so I could enjoy our day and not stress.
My fiancé and I met Angela at a cafe to talk about what our vision & objectives were for a week of coordinator. She pointed out a few items/details that I never thought of, which really made me confident she was the person I was looking for. My fiancé also felt confident with AWE, he liked how she listened to his ideas, created a time line & follow up date, and most of all she was within our budget.
She provided us with a range of creative ideas and presented us with a personalized plan that reflected our unique style. Her expertise and experience in the industry were evident as she guided us through every step of the planning process.
Angela has always been responsive, she was easy to text, call & email. She even went off island for another wedding, two weeks before our wedding, however she had everything 100% checked off before she left. Leading up to the wedding she emailed all my vendors, made sure insurances were submitted, helped with floor plans & walk throughs( which we had about 3 for the reception). Created the time line about 10 times (since little things kept changing). Angela also coordinated & lead our ceremony rehearsal.
The day off, we had a few little hiccups with the limo service, other than that everything went to plan. I left everything up to her. We were on the fence about doing a first look, but Angela suggested we take the time to do so, I’m so glad we listed. I was so nervous until I saw my future husband at our first look. Once I saw him and it was just him & I, all my jitters went away.
We then walked into our dream wedding, after our I do’s we went right into our long list of pictures with family & guests. Angela kept all of us on time, which is hard to do with my Ohana. We then set off to take bridal pictures & Angela headed straight to the reception for set up. I had impulses to check on things, but instead I focused on our day. Once we arrived to the reception we were so pleased to see that everything was perfect. Every detail was meticulously executed, creating a magical atmosphere that left our guests in AWE (see what I did there). We had the best time, laughing, crying, dancing & enjoying every minute.
We want to acknowledge the professionalism and friendliness of Angela White Events. She treated us like family, always with a smile on her face and genuine enthusiasm for our special day.
Her passion for creating memorable experiences was evident in every interaction.
