We turned to Nina and Ancient Summit to plan our family’s first, and hopefully not last, trip to Peru! Nina listened to all of our wishes and designed a personalized itinerary that checked all of the boxes and more! From the Amazon to the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu to Cusco to Lima, the hotels, activities and guides were all amazing. Nick, our guide, and Adderly, our driver, in the Sacred Valley were both exceptional. We learned so much about the history of Peru and the pre-Incan people and got to work on our Spanish. Every detail was perfect and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! We hope to return to Peru and will definitely reach out to Nina to plan our next S. American adventure.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Peru organized by Ancient Summit. Every detail was planned meticulously and we just had to focus on enjoying this incredibly rich and interesting country. We went to the Sacred Valley, Macchu Picchu, Cusco and Lima and always had a great driver and very knowledgeable and insightful guide with us. Wilfredo in the Andes and Erika in Lima really made the difference on our trip and we learned so much about the local history and culture. We went horse riding in Maras after visiting the Salineras which was wonderful and spent time with a community of traditional weavers as well as at local school. Macchu Picchu was even more impressive than we expected and loved spending a full day there. We were always engaged in some meaningful activity throughout the trip and the pacing was perfect we never spent too much time in the car or stayed in a place for too long. The food is a highlight of a trip to Peru and we learned a lot about local vegetables and dishes (2000+ kinds of potatoes!) by visiting the very large local food markets. We loved the experience and hope to be able to travel to Ecuador and the Galapagos with Ancient Summit at some point!

Ancient Summit gave my mother and I a phenomenal experience in Peru! Road-trip I already was exclaiming that I am going to go back there one day. Peru has so much to offer and sometimes it can be difficult to figure out what to do and when etc. Nina and her team at Ancient Summit really worked with us closely to tailor a trip and itinerary that matched our travel, lodging, food and activity preferences. Every day we did something new and we had our own guide with us the whole time. Tomas was extremely knowledgeable and loves his country. We could not have asked for a better guide or expert! He did all of the hikes with us and taught us all about Peru's architecture, history, gastronomy, customs, plant life and more! I highly recommend using Ancient Summit for your next trip to Peru or South America where they operate. We saw so many tour options online.but non offered such a wide variety of activities from hikes and tours to horse riding, stand-up paddle boarding and ziplining etc. They can make it as active or calm as you like. We went for ten days and every day felt so magical and so exciting. Nina is so kind and personable and genuinely cares about the experience she is giving others through her guided tours. I am so grateful for her hard work and the hard work of her team (especially the people we were able to meet in our trip).

We were looking to plan a trip to Peru and came across Ancient Summit. Our experience with Nina was exceptional - we actually expanded our trip to include the Galapagos - which was outstanding - followed by southern Peru; Cusco, Machu Picchu, Tambopata, and Lake Titicaca. The organization was flawless and the guides exceptional. Guides on trips like this make a huge difference.

We had such a good experience that we had Nina arrange a subsequent trip to Northern Peru (outstanding archaeology) and the Amazon - on the not to be missed Delfin I. Again everything was flawless and highly enjoyable! I'm sure we'll go back again - and we'll be contacting Nina....

We were lucky enough to find Nina at Ancient Summits who crafted an incredible once in a lifetime journey for our family. With her extensive knowledge of Peru and her awesome team of local tour guides and drivers we had one of our most memorable vacations to date. I usually plan our own trips but it was awesome to just sit back and let Nina take the reigns and it was such a worry-free vacation, even when things weren't going as planned. We were so thankful to have this great support system as we encountered our first snag only moments after hitting the ground in Peru. Both our sons planes were delayed and we were supposed to start on our Amazon cruise. This is where I would usually start to panic but before we picked up our bags Ancient Summit had it all figured out and our sons caught up to us by speedboat the next day. That was just the beginning of Ancient Summit adjusting when there were protests, or when the kids wanted to sleep in or when we wanted to add an extra hike or find a shop, it was never any problem for Nick who was our amazing guide for most of the trip. By the end of our time together, it felt like he was part of the family. Nina was also able to arrange special extra experiences that you won't find with other tour companies.
Ancient Summit is definitely a First Class operation who knows and loves Peru and who's goal is for you to know and love Peru too. Mission Accomplished!

We have now completed two "once in a lifetime" trips with Ancient Summit. Our first trip last year to Peru was as perfect as a trip can be. Nina understood the kind of experience that we wanted to have. She and her team carefully curated an itinerary that would be hard to beat and I certainly would not have been able to come up with on my own. We doubled down and used ancient summit for our trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. The amount of choices for boats and itineraries was overwhelming to me when I did my own research. Nina was able to narrow the list down to boats that she knew would fit out style. She nailed it.
