This is my favourite place to stop for a proper sit down meal when travelling the New England Highway
Great value for money with the meals. I had the chicken Schnitzel with chips and gravy and salad. The salads include things like,egg,cucumber, pineapple, lettuce,cheese,beetroot, tomato,carrot. Schnitzel was delicious ?.
Friendly country service.
Plenty of parking,toilets. Good place to stop and stretch the legs on a long road trip.
They also offer just snacks,and takeaways.

Had a few dealings now and the Indian Manager is beyond RUDE!! In this particular instance, I had booked a U-Haul Trailer trailer online, as I have done before, went to pick up only to be informed he has given the trailer out to a local mate WITHOUT any booking or payment made with or to U-Haul for the trailer. Said manager has continued to be smug and rude to us and kept saying he has nothing to do with the bookings and wouldn't answer any questions. So, needless to say we STILL haven't been able to pick up the trailer and have now had to try change all our plans and other bookings. Absolutely wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last place on earth. Shocking.

women's toilets are in disrepair.1 toilet no seat, 1 toilet no door. grumpy guy serving. Used to be such a nice clean place, with friendly staff. Although maybe he is grumpy as the toilets are in disrepair also.

Counter service by the woman was pushy and hurried to the point i just ordered 2 large coffee's and paid. There were not other customers waiting. The kitchen hand overfilled the cups with insanely hot coffee. An hour later i pulled over and tipped them out as still hot.Avoid.

This Ampol is advertised as 24hr but was not open when we came past at 5:55am.

Thought I’d drop in for a light breakfast.
Ordered scrambled eggs and coffee, wow!
I couldn’t finish the scrambled eggs, 2 slices of toast, 2x tomato halves and 2 x hash browns.
The photo doesn't do the breakfast justice.
Very reasonably priced with friendly service, will be stopping again when I pass through.
