Since the new management has taken over, this venue now ROCKS. They have paid particular attention to delivering venue spaces for all kinds of events, and cater for a diverse crowd. Mojos is still the best bar in Mackay with the Rooftop Views over the river. Lush Bar is well designed for a corporate events, while the G's Bar is perfect for a quiet drink with friends.

We went up to the roof top MOJOS for our Sons 30th Birthday and it was a lovely view and great service. Being on the roof meant there was a nice breeze given it was a warm night. The bar staff are so friendly and welcoming and the owners welcomed us warmly. We had a great night!

Absolute joke. Do not. DO NOT. Agree to the bar tab. You will be told that you will get double the amount you pay. We paid $100. And then were told 1 hour later that the bar tab was gone. The manger said that it was a register error and gave use back $20. Out of our $200 bar tab. What a joke. Do not go there. There are so many better places in Mackay. Do not let this place scam you.

I've given it 5 stars not because it's a five star hotel but because I love the place. Love that it's old. Places like this are constantly needing to be renovated and they seem to be in the process of repainting. It's very clean even down to the pot plants which seem to have new soil and wood chips. Floors, kitchen, toilets, rooms... All spotless which comes down to professional management and staff. They are very friendly as well which is what you want if your staying somewhere for awhile. The residents seem pretty polite and friendly too. There is also a niteclub here too so might see in the new year here tonight. Happy Daze.

Recently attended the newly opened Gs bar for a comedy night. Was great although so packed. Staff are always friendly. Catering by Poco Cucina was very good. Would recommend to my Mum & people who aren't immunocompromised.

Went here to try the rooftop bar, was pretty disappointed. Have to walk up 2 flights of narrow stairs to get too it. Drinks were overpriced and barstaff boasted being able to make the best cocktails in Mackay. Ordered a long Island iced tea, one of the worst I've ever had. Couldn't even finish it, it was that bad. Music was too loud so you had to basically yell to have a conversation. Caters to a younger crowd. Don't recommend.

Had our daughter's​ 18th here last night. It was a great location and the staff and security were awesome, they couldn't do enough to help and we're really genuine and friendly. Will definitely have some future events here. Thanks Tenille and Daniel, and please thank your crew for making a good night even better
