Beautiful venue. Staff lovely; above and beyond customer service. Service was a little slow, but it was so because they were creating perfect food and drinks. Coffee wss really good, the scones were fresh, and high quality jam and cream that I think were made fresh on-site.

The hosts have done a wonderful restoration of this old building. The surrounds are also stunning. The host went above to make you feel comfortable and have a 5* visit. The charcutierie was full of high-quality goodies to share! I tried the barramundi, delicious and fresh. Perfect for a drive and good food.

Amarti was the perfect wedding venue for my Feb 2025 wedding! The space is absolutely stunning, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We had so many compliments from our guests about the food—it was fantastic! Amy was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. She knows the industry inside and out and gave us invaluable advice along the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!

What an absolute Gippsland gem. Attended with a group of 15 last weekend. Food was perfection across the board and the venue is an absolute standout. Felt like a little piece of Tuscany in our own back yard. Absolutely 100% reccomend.

Our visit for lunch was in late April; we sat outside under the tress, golden with autumn leaves, garden in bloom and well cared for, food was delicious and varied. Music in the background, very relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and happy to recommend!

We were really looking forward to celebrating my mum’s birthday lunch at this venue, having heard such great things. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.

Upon arrival, we were surprised by a cakage fee of $3.00 per person. As there were 7 adults and one very young child (who wasn’t eating), we decided it wasn’t worth it—especially since the fee only covered storing the cake and bringing it to the table with a stack of plates and spoons. They didn’t serve it, nor did they provide anything beyond basic utensils.

Despite the venue being nearly empty, service was incredibly slow. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes just to receive our entrées, and another 30 minutes for the first of the mains to arrive. Some of our group had nearly finished eating by the time the others were served. The table was not cleared between courses, so we were left with cluttered dishes throughout the meal—something we noticed was also happening at the few other occupied tables.

While the waitress was friendly and did thank us for our patience, there was no explanation given for the extensive delays.

A particularly disappointing moment came when I discovered a long black hair in my dish, right at the bottom with only a couple of forkfulls left. When I mentioned it, I was offered a free drink—since I had in fact, eaten the meal.

By this point, we’d been there so long we decided to go ahead and pay the cakage fee after all, and also ordered coffees. The cake was served and eaten well before the coffees finally arrived.

All up, we were there for almost three and a half hours from arrival to the final coffee, which is excessive given how quiet the restaurant was.

To be fair, the food was tasty, but the portion sizes were underwhelming for the price.

Overall, the experience was disappointing. While the venue has potential, the apparent inconsistency of service, and lack of attention to detail let it down.
