Came here for high tea with a couple of team members and it was great. Bring a big group we got our own area to sit in.

Food was a good balance between savoury and sweet. Pick of the bunch would be the brioche roll.

The views 🪟 are ok, you mostly will see either the SE suburbs and the top of Chadstone or on the other side, Bayside and some views of the city. Not the prettiest but maybe better at night.

Personally I feel the service could have been better, more attentive (eg. Don't have to call them over etc).

Anyway, still a good place to try if you like high tea!

Oh and the chips here are deliciously great.

We enjoyed the sunset at Altus, Rooftop, Bar & Lounge at M Gallery Sofitel at Chadstone. Staff are friendly.

We had Altus Tower set since they don't serve main meals. We reckon more lavosh should be provided to match the quantity of cheese served. We do love the cheese but the charcuteria was a bit salty. The NSW Rock Oysters were the best! I love my non-alcohol drink too.

I suggest they serve main meals for dinner on weekdays. Not sure if they serve on weekends.

Took my daughter this afternoon to the high tea. It was fantastic and memorable for us both. The food was magnificent and we enjoyed it while looking out onto a magnificent view. Our server (sorry didn't get their name) was very friendly and service was amazing.

Would highly recommend if you are looking for something special to do these school holidays. My daughter and myself loved every minute.

A most enjoyable high tea experience at the Altus rooftop lounge and bar area, part of Hotel Chadstone.
Food was tasty and well presented, staff service was professional and the rooms decor & atmosphere was lovely.
I loved the room's feature art piece made of upside down glasses( looked like a huge chandelier) and the floor to ceiling windows that let in light and gave a great view. Sadly it was overcast and rainy when we attended, but it will be nice to come back in summer months to enjoy the outside fresco area and clear sky views.
Was able to cater for all food intolerances- our group had gluten free, vegetarian, low Foodmaps, no seafood amongst our 'standard' orders.
We would have loved to see a few higher/ bigger tables, as it was a bit squashy and difficult eating off such low coffee tables.

A special thanks to Hami, whose exceptional skills made our visit memorable.She took the time to understand our drink preferences and crafted a custom Godfather cocktail that was not only delicious but perfectly tailored to our tastes.

The atmosphere at Altus is vibrant yet relaxed, making it a great spot for unwinding. Hami’s attentiveness and expertise truly elevated our experience. I highly recommend this bar for anyone looking to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails in a welcoming environment. I can't wait to return!

When I came here to visit the first time since I have never been to try the rooftop ba in Melbourne. I tried to use the staff discount since I normally used to the staff rates in any of Accor Group's partners for the FOB. However, one of the staff said we can't use it. I did not know if the rooftop bar at MGallery was separated from the Accor Group. However, I went there again last week and finally I can use the staff rates. I am amazing with the atmosphere and views. Might stay here one day.
