We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Alto Events in November 2024 and couldn’t be happier. There’s nothing like a Melbourne city wedding! It really was a dream come true. The team took all the stress away and it was absolutely seamless!!! Thank you so much to all the team at Alto, the day was truly magical!

Hosted our welcome event for our conference at Alto & would highly recommend this venue. They were very accommodating with our requirement & happily answered all my questions. The service & food was fantastic and my guests are still talking about the Parmesan wheel for the pasta! Would have no hesitation in hosting future events at Alto.

We had our wedding reception at The Alto Event Space, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to accommodate every request and Chloe, the venue coordinator, was incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. She made the planning process seamless, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food, provided by Damn Fine Food group, was beyond exceptional. Each dish was not only delicious but also impeccably presented. The wine selection was fantastic, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the martini cart.
It was everything we hoped for and more and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day! We would highly recommend The Alto without hesitation.

As a wedding photographer, it’s fantastic to work in a space that looks stunning from every angle. The large windows let in beautiful natural light, making all the photos look incredible. The balcony is spacious enough for a ceremony, so you can even have an outdoor ceremony if you choose. It’s perfectly located right in the heart of the city, making a city stroll for portraits super accessible.

The team here is an absolute dream to work with, and every setup I’ve seen has been amazing. Thanks to the team at Alto for their amazing work, and for always taking care of me.

Definitely worth looking into if you're after a city wedding right in the heart of the CBD.

Damm Fine Food made our combined 60th birthday and surprise wedding absolutely unforgettable. Their efficiency, attention to detail, and professionalism were exceptional from start to finish.
The decor was stunning, the food and drinks were outstanding, and the seamlessly coordinated live entertainment created the perfect atmosphere. Every element was beautifully executed, and nothing was too much trouble.

Our wedding reception at Alto was an absolute dream come true! It truly was the best night with the perfect backdrop of a stunning city view to enjoy.

The food provided by Damn Fine Food group was beyond exceptional. Each dish was delicious and impeccably presented. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was!

The staff at Alto was amazing! From Chloe, the venue coordinator, who was incredibly professional and easy to work with, to Bec, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night. All of the staff were so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding night.

Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than Alto! It exceeded all our expectations in every way possible. Thank you to the entire team at Alto for making our wedding day truly unforgettable!

We had our wedding at Alto in August 2022. Vicki, Caroline and the Damm Fine Food team were such a joy to work with in the leadup to our wedding and on the day. They made the process easy and stress-free, and the day went off without a hitch. The space looked absolutely incredible - it was everything we hoped it would be. And to top it all off, the food was amazing. We can't thank them enough!

As soon as we stepped into ALTO for the first time, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. The Melbourne CBD backdrop creates such an awesome atmosphere, and this is complemented by the intimate, modern and classy nature of this venue.

Words cannot describe how amazing the ALTO staff were, both leading up to the wedding, and also on the day. Planning a wedding throughout a global pandemic is not an easy task, and yet the ALTO staff were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. The communication was perfect – always prompt and extremely transparent/detailed.

The food and drinks were immaculate – and all guests were blown away by the quality of service.

Thank you to all the ALTO staff for making our wedding so special. We cannot recommend ALTO enough!
