I don't understand how a pub in a small town like Bright why you rip the visitors of the town off. The same people that with out them you haven't got a business!
I was served by a young lady that was fantastic. I played for my first beer and it cost me eight dollars. When I went do get another one I realised they had changed me 17 cents card fee. ON A DEBIT CARD. NOT CREDIT! When I was asked to run a tab for meals and drinks the rude young blokes behind the bar told me they couldn't do it.
Then he charge me ten dollars fifty for the same drink I paid eight dollars for before. It seems like if your not local you get ripped of blind. Local price and rip of the visitors price. All visitors into bright need to boycott this place and find somewhere the appreciate having them!
Very sad how you run your business. Any way upwards and onwards πŸ‘
Time to find another venue to have a feed and drink beers in.
Thanks guy for the experience.

Rooms are clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was relatively modern and clean simple|tea and coffee supplied, nothing else. Room has a air conditioning split|heater and cooler, nice and quiet during the night. Had a ok dinner at the pub next door which was good and handy. NB they offer zero flexibility on their policies so make sure you understand it when booking a room

The Alpine Hotel in Bright has been a reliable choice for my wife and I during our annual Hot Rod Run visits for the past six years. Its central location puts us right in the heart of the action, making it easy to soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the town.

The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of car-spotting and festivities. The friendly and helpful staff always go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

Having the Bistro next door is super convenient and the perfect spot to unwind with a couple of cold beers and a nice pub feed.

We highly recommend the Alpine Hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and centrally located accommodation option in Bright.

Spend all afternoon out the front area paying for drinks and watching the footy. Go to order food after multiple tables around us are served pizzas, chips, burgers etc. and am told the area out the front can't be served food. When asked how tables around us got food we were told the staff member "didn't know" 1st time being here but certainly won't be back

Seems a locals mentality as certain tables can smoke or vape even though multiple signs up saying not allowed. Probably the same as being able to order food it you're a local it's ok

Dined in and had seafood stir-fry with Asian veg and rice. Nothing sir fry about that meal and no veg to be seen. A bit disappointing for the price. Also had crispy fried calamari and salad. Would have been lovely if the salad was anything like the description in stead of lettuce with 4 bits of cherry tomato. No dressing on that either.
Would be nice if you put it on the menu it should be on the plate.

The food was average, the flathead tails were not exactly what you would call tails, they were more like fish fingers. There wasn't much to them as they were camouflaged to look like the chips. The salad was a salad.

Bistro review only!

Sadly can’t give any more stars than 3
Staff was lovely
Atmosphere was good
However the menu was deceiving.
Hubby had the mixed grill & it was disappointing, the sausage was the only full size item, everything was a mini version of the items listed. Rissole was no where to be seen.
I had the mushroom burger, was expecting a decent piece of halumi between 2 grilled mushrooms, received a small piece of halumi & 1 grilled mushroom between buns.
Boys had BBQ Parma & I think they had the best option out of everything. Parma was a WINNER!

Dinner on Sunday night was sadly disappointing.Food was well below what we considered average. And whilst we know there were a large number of people we had to cancel some items as the wait was way too long. So, over all very poor....

Sauce for one thing wasn't as one would expect...Very dry...
