We did the 4WD 3/4 day tour with Sally through the Alpana property and absolutely recommend it! We loved the personal touch and all the info on the animal and plant species. The cookies in the lunch break were also delicious. Amazing experience for anyone visiting the area!

Wow, what a piece of Australia. Had the luxury of 6 nights in this part of heaven. No phone coverage, although I did have Telstra on a new android ontop Sunset hill. Was so good to detach from the network.
Sally and co were amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable or the area.
The powered ensuites were clean and large, was surprised.
If you have a good 4wd then pay the fiddy bucks and hit the Mt Samuel 4wd track, this bad boy runs off the Glass Gorge Rd and is a must for the adventure. Take it easy and enjoy some of the best views the Flinders has to offer. The track is awesome. Thanks for the eggs and see you early next year.

We stayed three nights in the remote hut about 7km and 21 creek crossings from the homestead. After a few nights roughing it we very much enjoyed the hot shower at the hut, and a toilet you could sit on! My trailer sustained some damage en route from Yunta. Thinking we were cactus, Dave welded the spring shackle back on the chassis and enabled us to continue our trip.
We had a brilliant time there and met some great people. Thank you so much Sally and Dave.

David and Sally have an awesome business going here with accommodation from "glamping" to a basic river side camp site. The properyt is huge and the extra to explore it is well worth it. We did Mt Samuel 4wd track (absolutely brilliant views and terrain) and the Sunset 665 track. This one is done for sunset at one of the highest points in South Australia.

We stayed at Alpana Station for two nights and wished we had stayed longer. It was the highlight of our Flinders Ranges getaway! We were in a caravan and stayed at the powered 'Trees' location which was both private and had a fantastic outlook. Alpana limits the number of guests so there is plenty of space! It's very much the station experience which is what we wanted.

Our host Sally couldn't have been more helpful with both station activities and things to do close by. Our kids loved feeding the farm animals and heading out on the property's 4WD tracks.

Blenheim is a short 5 minute drive away with a pub and the 'Crib' bakery with must have Cornish pasties and the best coffee! We loved the Copper Mine tour too.

We had a wonderful stay here. Accommodation is great value for money, being on a working sheep station is fascinating and John and Sally made us feel welcome. John took our riding companions on a motorcycle ride they’ll never forget.
