Staying on the Gold Coast over Christmas 2024 we found ourselves at paradise towers well I can tell you if your looking to stay It’s only meters from the perfect beach yet the room is miles from perfect.|This place is falling apart they clean your room before you arrive. The unit we got was cleaned on 24th dec it had no ceiling fans or fans at all and no air conditioning the main couch was covered with a blanket that was hiding all the mould growing over the main cover and the other couch was covering the mouldy window to the balcony views of the ocean. we found dirty socks from the previous guest under the couch with loads of dust webs cockroaches some died ones, also found broken finger nails and dirty ear buds in the second bedroom under the already freshly made clean bed sheets.|It comes with a full kitchen not that you’d use any of the appliances grease hand makes over every cupboard door pots and pans where black and burnt on the bottoms the extractor over the stove was so full of grease the fan struggled to work the oven is coated in aluminium foil to hind the dirty burnt oven trays. We where told to keep the unit clean and there will be an inspection of it before we leave so to clean the unit they have provided a vacuum cleaner, well you guessed right the vacuum was Chockers full of rubbish the filler was clogged with dust and the last person empty some of the vacuum cleaner in the cupboard where it’s kept maybe because there is no garbage bin to be found anywhere in the two bedroom unit. |Only a letter on the table that thanks us for staying here and that if we’d like a cleaning service with vacuuming and new bedding it’s only $50 extra. Honestly I see you don’t get value for money here at Aloha apartments or Paradise towers because they are all under the same management..|My advice don’t ever stay here.

Stayed 15th Feb 2026, it is an oldish establishment which is, in my opinion, central everything that makes a GR8 break at Surfers Paradise. The room was surprisingly nice and clean with all the facilities you may need, except knives, forks and spoons, so if you think you may need such utensils, pack them.
The Pool was GR8 and the Sauna was also so bloody good.
Long term parking is one street away at Secure Parking at the Paradise Centre at Hanlan Street, after 5 hours up to 24 hours it will only cost you $30.
Once you come out of Secure Parking through Paradise Centre, on to Hanlan St cut through the Beachcomber across the street and you end up on Trickett Street and less than 100 mtrs from Aloha.

I am not a big fan of "No Reception" Aloha has that, everything else was GR8 and this morning "Aloha" to Aloha Apartments get the car and back home to Brissy.
Will be back.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, UNSAFE ROOMS!!!!! During my stay the toilet became clogged and after talking to the manager apparently it’s a REGULAR OCCURRENCE that he is not concerned about even after SEWER WATER OVERFLOWED OUT OF THE SHOWER AND THROUGH WALLS INTO THE CARPET!!!!!!!!! I told him about it immediately and he didn’t take any course of action for 3 DAYS.. and even after that it was not professionally cleaned and was ā€œvacuumed and disinfected manuallyā€ Not only does that mean that it’s still infected with sewer water, it is extremely disgusting, completely unsafe and wrong! and also to add bathrooms are covered in mold. Walls are covered in dirt that looks like snot. Management is extremely rude and unhelpful

This place has alot of potential but........
Good size 1 bedroom apartment with a comfortable bed.
Good kitchen.
Washing machine in the room.
Great location.

The problems are -
1. Really dirty...hair on the floor, dirty walls, dirty cutlery, dirty windows, grime in the shower, dirty everything really.
2. Seriously DANGEROUS step out of the shower. About 12inches to the ground.
3. Old fittings that are falling apart.
4. $300 bond....take photos when u leave.
5. $30 per day for parking.

After reading most reviews of this place being terrible, dirty, outdated etc etc we still decided to take our chances. Price was reasonable to us so we booked the 1 night. We got room 404 sea view. It was 1 bedroom apartment. I actually loved it! The location is the best beach is 20metres away, surfers is a small walk. The room it’s self was great. Kitchen had everything, had air con both lounge room and bedroom, and had fans! The view was alright as good as it can be. The bed was good. I don’t see why people complain about old and outdated who cares! Yes it’s old but ur not paying for the Hilton haha it’s an old apartment that’s it. |If I have to say one or 2 things bad it would be the hot water didn’t work at the start but as soon as we rang reception the lovely man was straight up here fixing it for us in 10 mins boiling hot water for our shower. And the other thing is the Wi-Fi but didn’t bother us really we all have internet on our phones but the tv is really slow like Netflix maybe because of the internet not sure! That’s all! So over all yes we liked it actually and we would definitely come back. We paid for parking underneath as well which the man did us a deal $25 but it was a Sunday!|I think people should stay here. If your not posh snobs it will be fine for ya

0/10 do not recommend. My partner booked us a one night stay 2nd august 2022 and we couldn’t stay there.

The place is incredibly dirty and run down. The reception area is grim.
You can smell it's dirty as soon as you enter.

As soon as we walked into our room we were greeted with 2 cockroaches.

The hallway picture had been broken with large pieces of plate glass left hanging.

Everything in the apartment including the beds and linen was very old and run down, lots of damage.

Our room was particularly small, the 1/2 size bath had horrible black stains inside it.

We are both avid campers and don't need much to be comfortable but this place was absolutely disgusting.

Parking is also $30 for the night?!?!

We went down to reception to ask for a refund so we could book somewhere else and we were told there would be a $50 admin fee, then it was dropped to $30 "because we were nice".

We ended up staying in Mantra on View down the road for only $10 more and that was very enjoyable.

Overall our stay was average. It is definitely what you pay for, considering other apartments around the area are a solid 1-2k more. Our room was big and has aircon, as well as the pool area was decently kept. However, our room was a little dirty in terms of the kitchen and bathroom were mouldy. There wasn’t much appliances and cleaning products given to us and when we asked for more we were flat out told no.

This is definitely what you pay for, although I feel like it could of been cleaner, however in saying that if you are looking for somewhere to crash while you go out and party and drink that’s close to the central of surfers paradise, this is okay.

Had 4 people occupying the apartment over the weekend. this place needs major upgrades. Bathroom reeks of piss, had to close the door so the smell wouldn’t come into the room. The beds are hard as rock and sooooo uncomfortable, I woke up with major lower back pains. There was no aircon in the apartment so the windows were left open all weekend. The sheets in the room stunk like they hadn’t been changed. Curtains are coming off the railings. As much as I want to say good things about this apartment, there’s just none and that’s a shame because with a bit of maintenance, this could be a really nice apartment.

However, the lady who served us was lovely. Probably won’t be back.
