Had the" Feed Me" 7 courses. Loved all the dishes. Exceptional service , professional staff. Nice heritage building. Best restaurant meal I have had for some time. One small thing is it is pricey, but the quality of the food makes the wallet hit not too bad. Good cocktails.

From entry into the restaurant, sitting at the table and the service. Alium is 5 stars all the way. The waitress we had was on the ball, the service was actually quite exceptional all around.

With two hats this is the place to dine in Bendigo, just opposite the fountain and close to main street. Previously a bank the heritage ceiling is stunning, as is the food of the feed me menu.

Everything was good, but it was the lamb that was our favourite with that beautiful potato. The arancini was creative, but needed more sauce, the risotto size was perfect as part of a many course meal. Wrapping up with a palette cleanser and perfect oolong pannacotta. Service was excellent. A lovely place for date night

I absolutely love coming here. There's a terrific choice of food and price points. The wine is terrific and the meals are a carefully considered and thoughtful combination of textures and flavours. I especially love coming here as a solo diner as Nick and all of the staff are more than accommodating and so kind. Their cocktails that I've had are a tasty balance of sweet and sour. Last time I visited I had the carpaccio and risotto as a starter and the crispy duck bao as a main.
Especially recommend the duck - the crispy outside is perfection!

We had the opportunity to dine here on Saturday night. The decor is beautiful, the view out the huge window, looking into Rosalind Park, stunning. The food and service was impeccable and well deserving of the reputation Alium has work had to gain.

Beautiful tasting menu for $110pp, it included a good variety of food, all perfectly prepared and presented. The timing of the dishes was excellent, allowing time to discuss the previous course and savour the lingering flavours before being presented with the next dish. The Amaretto Sour Lux and Millionaire #5 cocktails were spectacular. Staff were attentive but not overbearing and their service was great.
Well worth a visit for any occasion.

Fabulous experience, excellent service and the most delicious food.
A new Spring menu started yesterday and for lunch theres Tapas. We had the most sublime prawns, the sauce was incredible. Get the bread just to discreetly mop up the sauce!
Desserts were fantastic too.
A bit pricey, but worth the treat.
Thanks, we'd definitely recommend dining Alium.

6 of us thoroughly enjoyed the chef’s special dishes at $60/head. Very good value. Lovely wine to match. Very friendly and informative service. Great position for a beautiful view of Bendigo
