Unit was not clean at all. A dead bat was found under the couch. The fly wire screens in the kitchen and lounge were not secured. The lawn in the back yard was knee high, dangerous for snakes. All the outdoor furniture was not clean. The swimming pool was green and not safe for swimming. The outdoor recreation area was not clean. A very disappointing experience and would not return. Had to pay in full well in advance. Total disrespect not having the unit adequately prepared for out 3 day stay.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Everybody in Bright is very friendly. Our room was very spacious and felt like a home away from home. Comfy beds with electric blankets. Everything you need is there. We borrowed the bikes (for free) and had a lovely ride into town. The girls chose a few DVDs for the stay from reception (for free). We were sad to leave and will try our best to return after such a great holiday.

Staying in the big house we had a garage for our bikes and plenty of beds and rooms for everyone. An outdoor dining area and private BBQ meant we could cook and eat some fantastic local produce. Kitchen also had everything needed and a fire place added to the atmosphere ||Room setups great with huge communal lounge rooms and situated right on the rail trail for a pleasurable walk into town. ||Bedding was high standard and rooms modern with2 bathrooms. We recently returned to Alinga Longa because on our first trip we were impressed with the units generous proportions & great lay out. This place is not far from Bright town centre & is a very peaceful place to stay.||||To our surprise we found new hosts in charge. Greg & Christel who have completely revamped the tired old place into a very modern property. The renovations have been carried out to a very high standard.||||Each unit is very well equipped with modern kitchen & bathroom, both full of modern life's essentials. There is even a complimentary pod coffee maker & free Wi Fi. Greg & Christel both work very hands on to give great & friendly service.||||I would highly recommend Alinga Longa for your stay in Bright & I would have no hesitation returning

We decided a little late to go to the Iconic Bright Rod Run on the 7th of November.||Everything in Bright books out fast as there are people coming from everywhere for this great weekend. We finally found a place that could accommodate us all. It wasn't because the place is bad that they had vacancies I just think normally you drive straight past it.||Won't go past it anymore though it is a great little place to stay with very friendly owners.||I think they are doing a great job on the place and are looking after it well. Rooms could do with a little more modern feel but I think it is a working progress. Pool is great also. Only about a km from the main hub but close enough.||I will stay again for sure.

After camping for a couple of weeks in Bright, we like to pack up early and spoil ourselves with a stay in a hotel for a couple of nights before we go home. What a pleasant surprise Alinga Longa is! Lovely, well appointed, clean rooms and s beautiful pool area with bbq. My only small complaint would be that the person in the unit next door likes to play inanely on the piano during the day and this can spoil the peace & quiet. We will be making this our destination in future for sure.

My wife & I have stayed here several times over the last 10 years & really enjoyed it. But sadly things have changed. The property has been sold & is now managed by an agent. Mind you the property is still nice but the nicety doesn't extend to the service.. The agent required the full amount of rent be paid 14 days before we even got to Bright. Then we had to fill out a comprehensive questionnaire about ourselves ( fortunately, no finger prints were required). Upon arrival a $400 security deposit was required .We were also informed that the free Wi Fi that was advertised wasn't available anymore. I can't ever recall on our travels around Australia or the world ever having to pay the full tariff 14 days in advance. The service here used to be personal & great. Now it's very impersonal. A bit like dealing with the Government really.

Stayed here with husband, two kids and another adult. Nothing luxurious but it has everything it needs and the management are very good. Good living space and lovely outdoor areas. The beds are very comfortable. We walked into town both via trail and main road several times with small children - very easy. Recommend.
