My husband and I used Alex to plan our son’s bar mitzvah and it was the best decision we made. Alex is so knowledgeable and made great recommendations based on what we wanted. From the service to the party Alex was there guiding us every step of the way and it was completely seamless and perfect! I cannot recommend Alex highly enough.

I love love love Alix. She planned the most incredible B'Nai Mitzvah for our boy/girl twins. I had a few concerns about Mitzvah party planners. One is that they suggest really cheesy things that would not reflect who we are as a family. Alix is the classiest lady - the Grace Kelly of party planners. She has impeccable taste, is super-creative, and every vendor she recommended was excellent and lovely to work with. The other concern was that party planners inflate costs. Alix was completely respectful of our budget, and made great suggestions as to what was worth spending money on and where we could save money. My husband, who does not throw around compliments easily, said to me "The best thing you did is hire this woman."
She dealt with the venue and all the vendors. She worked with the DJ to set up a time line. She did everything - I literally would have died without her because it is a lot to organize and deal with and I am a working mom and don't have the time, nor do I like doing this kind of thing. She is unique in that she is amazing at both having an overall creative vision for the party, but also coming up with and executing on a million details that make the party special. Also, it is likely you will have a few freak-outs while planning, and Alix is great at reassurance as well. She is a mom herself and veteran of 2 Bat Mitzvahs so she gets the importance of the day. When you work with Alix, you really feel that she takes pride in doing an excellent job and cares about things coming out perfectly for your family. I cannot recommend her enough!
