Great place.
Really lovely, genuine, people.
We used the BBQ to cook steaks we bought from the shop next door.
Make sure you visit the Raidis Estate winery too; excellent wine and excellent tasting !

We only stayed one night at the Alexander Cameron Suites and will stay there again when we are in Penola. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was as well. Very comfortable beds with electric blankets. Complimentary continental breakfast in the frigde. |Friendly staff.|Good location. Short walking distance to town.|I recommend this place.

Rooms are very clean and large as are the bathrooms, (no arguing about space.)
Very comfortable beds and the heating works well.
Nice continental breakfast provided as well as a coffee maker.
Very close to the centre of town and it has a supermarket right next door should you need anything.

We enjoyed a clean, spacious room after a warm welcome on arrival. A substantial breakfast tray was in the room. Very easy walking distance to town. Would definitely stay again if ever in the delightful little town of Penola.

Very large rooms with equally large bathrooms.|Very clean and quiet.|There is a continental breakfast provided and also a coffe maker, both pod and press.|Close to town (less than 200 m to the centre) with a supermarket right next door if you don't want the very short walk into town to try the local pubs and/or restaurant

Rooms are perfectly clean and spacious, cozy. They give you a nice in-room continental breakfast as a bonus. Welcoming new tenants

We were very happy as our room was comfortable, modern, clean and quiet, and the most spacious room and bathroom that we have ever encountered. The couch was also very comfortable. ||Our hosts were delightful and most informative of where to go and what to do. Penola is very close to the Coonawarra region with many wineries, some offering platters for lunch to accompany your wine. ||We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here one night on our way to great ocean road. Lovely big rooms, clean, small area to sit out in front and back. Lots of noisy birds around, mainly dawn & dusk. Friendly staff. Great value stop over. Breakfast provided in the fridge, not the best but adequate.
