We ate there on a Saturday evening, very friendly staff especially the young girl who took the orders. Everything was delicious even if the cuisine is simple but well made with fresh products and well-proportioned plates. Despite the crowd we were served very quickly. My chicken escalope was tender and soft and my vegetables perfect.
I don't have an opinion on the rooms because I haven't stayed there.

Ate dinner here a few times last week whilst visiting local friends; the meals were top notch with staff saying the chicken schnitzels and parmies are handmade by the local butchers next door, then cooked to perfection and served w genuine country hospitality. The pizzas were also great. Good selection of wines. Thanks Albert Hotel, I’ll be back!

The food here was magnificent. Being from Victoria, it was a bit bizzare seeing a minor serving alcohol at the bar, but service was pretty good overall. Would definitely come back.

One of the best in the area, definitely recommend this place.
The food, service and people are wonderful here. A place to stay upstairs too in the Motel. The outdoor area is bit like indoor, very nice and spacious. Dog friendly in the beer garden too. Events and music held here at times, great place to hire for gatherings. Indoor dining too, and a public bar. Historic building. Kids play area included.

Spent 3 nights in this lovely heritage hotel . Friendly staff, rooms and bathrooms very clean with a homely feel . Food in the bistro was the best , highly recommend the Parmy , but really everything looked great . Our kids loved the pizzas. Definitely check in to the Monto either for a stay or a meal and bevy .

The Albert Hotel has a limited vegetarian menu but last night I discovered the off-menu falafel ball spaghetti. I was a bit sceptical about the clash of cultural flavours but the dish was delicious. The Napoli sauce was a bit sparse but rich in taste. To make it even better, a good drizzle of oil and a sprig of broccoli would make it my regular go-to. The vegetarian pizza is also excellent but if you don’t like pineapple, request no pineapple as it sneaks into the toppings even though it’s not listed in the ingredients.
The Albert staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.
We enjoyed dining in the outdoor area in the warm glow of the new heaters.

Would have given you 4 stars. But one of the dishes that we order 'Crispy Pork Belly Stir Fry' was below average and it was ordered first and came out last that other meals were about to finish. Cutleries were quite dirty even though they were new in the package.
Apart from that, one of the girls found us a table as all the tables were booked out.
