Generally a good place for food and people. Nice place to catch-up for dinner over some drinks. The specials on Wednesday and Thursday are quite good. Take advantage of that. The food portion has significantly gone down compared to what is charged. But it is okay. Staff are generally nice and patient.

As tourist to this town, we were made to feel quite unwelcome by the staff at this venue.
We were repeatedly left waiting for service at the sports bar whilst others were served ahead of us despite us being at the bar first.
We then tried getting a table in the restaurant (on a Monday night in the off season). Was advised a table for two was unavailable. As we ate in the beer garden, we could not help notice the restaurant remained less than half full the whole time we were there.
Maybe a sign at the front advising "Tourists not Welcome" would have saved us from such a poor experience.

Great location, near everything.
Food was great , they ran specials every night which were good value.

Wednesday night trivia night,it was good entertainment.
Many tv screen to watch football and sport, TAB , pokies
Staff we friendly, and prices we affordable.
Would recommend.

Can't speak highly enough of the service and staff at this place.
They go above and beyond. The food was great and the prices for both food and drinks were reasonable. Lachie the manager performs his role to a very high standard and we were most impressed.

First and only time here. I thought I’d play it safe and get a Chicken Parma for dinner. Well who could stuff up a chicken parma I thought. As it happens, these people could and did. If it wasn’t for the sauce on top then it would have been totally inedible. Chicken felt like a recycled tyre. Won’t go into the rest. One should go to the Bowls Club. Were told that they were much better and cheaper.

After roughing it on the cape it was a pleasant stay. Food is good and reasonable price. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Booked a donga cabin, well old, $160 is not worth it, wifi was rubbish 1 bar only, I felt like a miner, only 1 washing machine working , staff unfriendly in reception & sport bar( all of the, meal cost $80 find the salad( 1 mouth full only, fish was small, chips were nice thank goodness, Irish staff abrupt, felt like take my money & now you can fxxk off,|I wish I camped outside Weipa, in a gravel pit, muddy coast, |Resort old needs a repaint expecially the prices they charge
