This was the highlight of our trip to Darwin! We hired Airborne Solutions for a 9:30-4 tour for two adults and a child and they worked with us to customize a great day. First they took us to Dundee Beach, which was fairly uninteresting though we enjoyed the 30 min stop for ice cream and the view of the small cliffs.

Then they took us to Sandy Creek Falls and landed near the top of the falls. We got to swim privately for hours and have never had so much fun! We brought a picnic lunch and swam and played, it was a wonderful day!

The water is clear and warm, and the rocks are naturally terraced so it's easy to climb around and not slip (though the submerged rocks will always be slippery of course so be careful). Bring water shoes.

It was my understanding from our pilot that Airborne Solutions notifies the companies that lead tours into the falls whenever a helicopter is coming and no hikers can go in while they're there. A private waterfall. How amazing is that?

Finally we stopped at Crab Claw Island Resort, which again wasn't hugely interesting but we got to swim in the resort pool for an hour or so which was fun.

We thought the price was very reasonable for a day's flying though we all agreed that we'd want to do just a full day at Sandy Falls if it is possible.

Our pilot Drew was very kind and steady and the scenery throughout the trip was lovely! Would definitely recommend this activity!

We took a helicopter tour with Airborne Solutions to Crab Claw Island Resort for lunch.
The flight was fantastic and our pilot Zane was great, extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend to anyone.
Lunch at Crab Claw Resort was amazing, I’ve eaten many steak sandwiches over the years and the Big Steak Sandwich at Crab Claw resort is the best I’ve ever had, actually better than most streaks I’ve ever eaten.
The fish and chips are to die for, they use Treadfin which I’d never heard of but it is the best fish I have ever tasted.
Service at Crab Claw resort was great and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Now for Airborne Solutions, they are the absolute best company I’ve ever dealt with in my life, full stop.
We booked through the Darwin Visitor Centre and there was a miss communication, Airborne Solutions received our booking after hours on a Sunday, for a Monday morning flight and they were already booked out.
Airborne Solutions went above and beyond, putting another helicopter into service for the day and bringing in another pilot, Zane for the day.
Zane was amazing, very knowledgeable, super friendly and extremely accommodating, we would recommend Airborne solutions and Zane to anyone.

Airborn Solutions gave me and my mate one of the most spectacular experiences of our lives.
We did the 5 pubs pubcrawl.
An absolute must if you’re in for a day full of fun.
We came all the way from Sweden to spend a few weeks in Oz and Nz. This was the highligt of the trip without a doubt.

Sensational day spent with you guys on the full day pub crawl. Our pilot was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the different places we flew over and visited. This is a must do trip, certainly not a bucket list as we seem to do it every time we are in Darwin.

What a great experience. We went the Wetlands Tour. Drew was awesome in not only his piloting of the helicopter but knowledge of the land and allowing all passengers to see points of interest and angles for the wildlife. The airboat operators skilfully navigated the wetlands taking us to see many of it wild inhabitants. We would recommend this to anyone.

Just spent the day doing the 5 pub heli tour. What can I say, that was incredible!! What a great experience, lads we went with were good value and Blake “ICEMAN” the pilot was a legend. Answered any question, pointed out all the sights and just a good lad to chat to. 10/10 will be doing this again and can’t rate it highly enough. If you’re a maybe, stop thinking about it and get onto in, best experience in the NT!

We had Clancy as our pilot for a half day pub crawl.

Could not speak highly enough of him and the team. His knowledge while we were flying, pointing out things we would have otherwise missed, and just an all round good fella.

The team made everything from booking, paying, etc so easy, they even called ahead to the first pub with our lunch order so we couldn't be sitting around for ages while it was being made.

Honestly was the highlight of our trip.

Cannot wait to come back and do it again!

Highly recommend the heli pub flight , there is no better way to pub crawl and no what better way than to see Darwin than from the air ! Thanks to our pilot Drew who made our flight great , making sure we saw all the great spots 🍻
