AHS Hospitality had everything to be a good company; it looks like one on the outside, and the employees are receptive when you go for a job interview. But the job, in practice, is terrible and simply not worth the mental health of its workers.

They demand an inhumane standard of work from you: clean almost 20 luxury rooms (flat sized) impeccably in less than 25 minutes each (if you're a perfectionist, trust me, you'll end up stressing out). You have 2 weeks of "training," and then they expect you to turn into the Sonic of cleaning, full speed. But okay, that can still be "overlooked" with time.

It's an extremely physically and mentally exhausting job, not all guests know how to be kind and patient, and your work will n-e-v-e-r be good enough to your managers. The team is not united, turnover is high, it's every person for themselves, and obviously, there are internal cliques, in addition to the persecution many employees suffer from managers/sub-managers with a superiority complex; you're treated as if you were stupid.

It's not a job you'd aim to stay in for a long time if your ambitions in life remain in another area.

Honestly, AHS Hospitality, if you truly wish to grow and perpetuate the history of this company, you should start thinking about more humane ways to treat, connect, and benefit your employees that make them want to stay in the company and give their best for it, with kindness, humility, and respect above all else.

And if you're reading this and you're a young person who has just arrived in Australia and is looking for a job, believe me, you have much more potential than working for these guys here 🙂

Hired many unprofessional people to be supervisors when staff under them can do a better job. Pay per hr is low as well. Not recommended.

the worst workplace. The supervisors are very rude, I was sad to hear how they laughed at an employee for not being presentable, I do not tolerate bullying, it is not comfortable to work in that environment. When that happens, you don't feel like going to work.

Be extremely wary of this organization. They cannot be trusted. They promise the world, then go back on their word. A very duplicitous and shady group. They're essentially a hotel work outsourcing company. To be avoided.

Work for them for a very long time,
Over work you for minimum wage, the work load is far too high, demanding cleaning a entire room in 12 to 20 minutes,
Work with out break, demand to work overtime without pay, always threatening you're employment,
As to break work place Heath and safe rules,
Then add the bulling by managers, HR, and hotel staff like from Travelodge, any disagreement, more threats of employment,
