I would like to acknowledge the excellent work Rosanna did in arranging our recent trip to the Galapagos and Amazon. She went about this with the minimum of fuss and interpreted our needs impeccably. Both cruises were amazing as were the "in between" bits consisting of hotels and and sightseeing from Santiago, Lima, Quito, Guyaquil and back to Santiago. We had only one hitch which was out of her control.caused by an airline. strike. This inconvenience was handled amazingly well by Rosanna which caused us no inconvenience at all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and have recommended Adventure World Travel to our friends.

Whilst in Europe recently, we added a 9 day trip to Scandinavia, using $5,000 Covid credits from Adventure World (we were told we would lose them if not used in 2023). Additionally we had to pay a further $2,000. We were hugely disappointed and felt very ripped-off.
All Adventure World organized was our hotel accommodation and travel between countries. Nothing else. When I priced the equivalent accommodation/transport, at the same time of year, and at retail prices, we were overcharged by $2,300.
Not only did they provide nothing - their itinerary gave us the wrong departure time (by 1 1/2 hours) for an overnight ferry to Oslo. It’s only because we are always super early that we were able to avoid a catastrophe.

We just got back from a trip to Svalbard with Lindblad / National Geographic on the 'Land of the Ice Bears' tour, handled by the Lindblad agents in Australia, yours truly, Adventure World Travel.

Can't say enough about how much help we received before and after the trip from Justin Hatcher. His energy and enthusiasm for the product is refreshing and his commitment to service second to none.

I would highly recommend speaking to Justin about the Lindblad tours as, from our experience, they are second to none.

Also of note was how eager Justin was to hear about our experiences from the trip. Speaking about this wonderful place allowed me to relive so many moments again!

We were extremely disappointed with Adventure World Travel and would certainly not recommend them to anyone.
3 couples were supposed to travel from Athens to Venice in September 2021 but due to Covid this was not possible.
Where Adventure World Travel let us down was, firstly there was no contact from them advising that our 90 day period of cancelling was approaching. It was only that one of the couples realised this and contacted the Agent and was told we had 48 hours to cancel ... this is NOT looking after your customers.
It was now too late to book for 2022 as all the berths are gone, and there are no bookings for 2023, so we are now on their wait-list for that year.
Secondly, when requesting our deposits back, which we paid 12 months in advance via Direct Credit, we were advised that it would take 120 days! If we could pay immediately why can't they repay the deposit Direct Credit the same way?
I hope no other travellers have these problems as it makes us all reluctant to use Adventure World Travel in the future.

A once in a lifetime trip to Egypt on July 6th 2018 through Adventure World Travel has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was booked at Le Meridian and asked if I would like to pay an extra $275 for the "New Wing" Premium deluxe King bed room of this particular hotel. On arrival the hotel was fully booked and could not accommodate us with the room that I had paid extra for, as a consequence we were placed in a smoking twin bed room. The next evening I had to continually ask hotel staff at Le Meridian to change the room to the room I had originally paid for, they did move us, but not in the "New Wing". Adventure Travel have decided not to refund the extra payment of $275 that I had made on top of the quoted price! Very disappointing result!

Our independent trip for two to Oregon was wonderfully planned & organised. From the historic Sentinel & HiLo hotels in Portland to our personal tour of the coast & mountains with a very knowledgeable guide, everything went smoothly. Thank you to the great staff at Adventure World for giving us such an in depth experience. Definitely would use them again.

Rosanna did a spectacular job of organising my trip to Patagonia and Valparaiso. Everything ran completely smoothly and I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of going to South America. She is extremely efficient and accurate, whilst also being friendly and enthusiastic.
