Got something from this store almost every year. I havent got any bad service from the staff there so far. 5 stars mainly because they always have something i like.

I am never gonna do any purchasing from this store when today’s assistant with blond hair is working!!!!!!!
Although today’s (8/11/23) (2:30 pm) circumstance was in both sided, she was so rude for the customer service. I have purchased 4 items (Fast Trek )and I want to change the colours of a couple of them. I did not leave 2 of them which is no need to change, because I wanna decide it in store.
Firstly, I left 2 items in my bag and another 2 are on my hand for a change with its receipt. But she did not check my receipt like it was for all 4 items(I purchased). That is why she changed between them (4 items), even though I have purchased all of them already. At least, I thought sale assistant could check the item number using receipts.

Once she trying to charge another 100$ from me, I realised we did not get between each other. It was not too big problem if we dealing with each other. She said “Don’t bring items you do not mind to change, you make me double job” , even though I said to her “Sorry”. She was talking so rude and acting like blaming her child. Please, teach your assistants make their job with passion and separate them their life stress. 🤬

We are from Gold Coast. The service attitude of this man is very bad. No courtesy. If you don't like this job, please leave. Very unfriendly. I didn't expect Sydney to change so much in the past 20 years.

I purchased some hiking shoes for my wife and unfortunately the style did not suite her feet. When I returned the shoes the next day the store would not give me a refund, but would only offer credit - as per their "store policy"!!
I've bought many items from this store over the years and will now do my shopping at Anaconda or BCF which have a flexible, customer focussed returns policy.

Bought an item and wasn’t fully happy with it, came back the next day and they were happy to exchange.

Amazing service at the DFO branch from Fatima. She helped me pick a jacket for my Tasmania trip, and I haven't ever been so happy with my purchase ever! The jacket helped me from severe cold, rain and wind! Fatima was very patient and knew exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much for good service and your help!

Went to this store today looking for ski jackets to take to Canada in December. A lady named Jessica helped us out. She was so kind and helpful. Explained the different types. We got great items, for great prices as they were on clearance and are thrilled. Will be going back to get more for our other travellers.

Found exactly the shoes I needed, and the sales assistant Dakota went above and beyond in helping me with that.

EDIT Nov 2021: still have the shoes I bought and two years later I'm still extremely happy with them. Durability confirmed!
