Max and Rex were the ultimate free-diving duo and together they made such a kick-arse and powerful team. Sometimes we get caught up in numbers and measurements when we have new goals, however Max and Rex were so purposeful when introducing us to free-diving as they focussed on our enjoyment of the water and the process. I feel like this created such a safe and encouraging space to learn as we listened to our bodies rather than reaching for numbers. It was so inspiring to see each of their connections with the ocean as their passion was so obvious as they shared their knowledge with us. Max and Rex’s approach to diving not only covered the theory and practicality of diving, they taught us how to calm our mind and body, something I found essential every time I went below the surface.
