Our group gelled together so well and Olly's amazing knowledge of military history and intricate details of the many battles gave us a deep appreciation for the significance of the Kokoda track and the sacrifices made by Australian soldiers. My 9-day Kokoda Track hike with Adventure Bound Tours was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Belinda and Ollie ensured I was well-prepared, providing thorough information on what to expect and how to train effectively.

Visiting Bomana War Cemetery was a poignant beginning, setting the tone for the historical journey ahead. The arches at Ower's Corner and Kokoda marked the start and end of an incredible trek filled with stunning scenery and challenging terrain.

What truly made the experience exceptional were the personal porters who not only carried our gear but also offered unwavering support and camaraderie along the way.

Despite the remoteness of our location, the cooks managed to impress us with meals that fuelled our bodies and kept our spirits high. Their culinary skills were remarkable and added an extra layer of comfort to our camping experience.

The memorial service at Brigade Hill and Isurava served as powerful reminders of the sacrifices made by those who came before us. Ollie's knowledge and heartfelt stories brought the history of the track to life, deepening our understanding of its significance.

Overall, my Kokoda Track experience with Adventure Bound Tours surpassed all expectations. From the meticulous organisation to the genuine camaraderie and profound moments of reflection, it was truly the experience of a lifetime. Best thing I’ve ever done.

Hello! This is a great company to trek the Kokoda trail with!! Olly & Belinda are a fantastic team, as they organise a fantastic trip for all. Olly leads the track and is knowledgeable regarding the history of the trail and made sure every trekker was looked after. Belinda is helpful and supportive of every trekker's goal to complete the trail. My porter was a GEM, as were the others, Olly leads a great team. If you've ever wanted to tick this trail off your "bucket list," I'd say JUST DO IT and do it with ADVENTURE BOUND TOURS!

I had an amazing experience walking the Kokoda Trail with Adventure Bound Tours. Olly and Belinda did an amazing job helping us prepare prior to leaving, by supplying us with all the information we needed to get started. They were very approachable and always happy to help with ongoing support and answering any questions we had.

Once we got to Cairns the accommodation was excellent and a great spot to meet the team and the others trekkers prior to heading to Port Moresby the following day.

The flight into PNG and the initial meeting with our Porters went perfectly and it was evident that Olly and his team had been well prepared. Once we got into the Trek, it was Olly's experience and knowledge that gave us such a unique experience that will be unmatched. Olly did an excellent job passing on his knowledge of the Kokoda campaign, which allowed us to take home a better understanding of the men and women that came before us and what they went through.

I must also mention that the food was great for the entire trek. We were well fed, the porters did a fantastic job with cooking and helping us to keep our water bottles filled.

Coming to the end of the trip, we were looked after up to the last minute. The trip from Port Moresby back to Cairns through Customs again went smoothly. We had one last night in Cairns prior to our good byes and heading home.
