Relaxing space. Short mangrove beach, boardwalk and dock to launch kayaks, didn’t see any dolphins but a few bait fish about the place. Boardwalk is thin, so people fishing and walking is hectic, but manageable. Only 10 mins outside port Adelaide.

We had a blast during our time in the dolphin sanctuary. It was a magical day as we saw dolphins the whole time we were kayaking. The weather was perfect and our group was a fun bunch. Also, Fiona kept us entertained the whole time. She was very knowledgeable about the area and also where to spot the dolphins. Keep up the good work! 👍 🤙

Excellent plan to get out of the routine! Is not required to be fit, the difficulty is easy-medium. I went with some friends and all of us really loved it! We saw some dolphins when we got out the water but it was still pretty amazing! I will definitely come back!

Had really good time there with the help of Adventure Kayaking. We were fortunate to see dolphins and a dolphin calf within 10m or lower.

Not really an allocated sanctuary. More of an idea that was created but not followed through. Information is hard to come by and you end up driving through heavy industrial area on bad roads to get to a coastal area that has been badly maintained and not rehabilitated after industry has taken its toll. We originally were lead to believe that there are facilities and nice areas to go for walks and enjoy the outdoors, but as mentioned you cannot really get good access. If you really want to experience the area you will need to pay money for one of the many kayak or boat tours. Don’t expect to see dolphins though, they seem to be a hit and miss (obviously it is seasonal and you need to be quite lucky at the right place and the right time). Went through my photos now and I did not even take any photos of the places we stopped at. A whole day of driving around the area and not one photo worthy scene. Makes me think it was not a great views day. We did enjoy the outing but the title “Dolphin Sanctuary” is just that, it is for the dolphins and not really for people to come out and have a fun day viewing them.
