I rolled in on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon as my car had just started making a horrible noise. I asked the lady at the desk if anyone could possibly just tell me if my car was safe to drive home. She introduced me to Matt who jumped in the passenger seat and came for a lap around the block to diagnose the problem. He knew what it was straight away. Upon arriving back in the workshop I was expecting to need to book in to have the issue fixed. Instead, Matt lifted my car straight away, took the wheel off and explained a rock had probably flicked up between the backing plate and the disk in the rear wheel. The rock fell out after a little encouragement and Matt put the wheel back on. What was a quick job in the end saved me hours and probably hundreds of dollars as he insisted that there would be no cost. On a Friday afternoon probably as he was on the way out the door, this level of service was certainly unexpected and I am very grateful. I'll be booking my car in for all future servicing needs at Adamstown Car Doctors. Thanks Matt, you're a legend mate!

Got a pre-purchase inspection done 6 months ago and still haven’t been able to get the car registered because of the amount of work done. Will end up costing $15k on top of the cost of the car to fix up everything.

I was told by these guys that the car is in good shape and will likely just need some new tyres, however it needs all new brakes, hoses, booster etc etc.

These guys are untrustworthy and liars, I doubt they barely even looked at the car, probably just had the seller pay them to tell me it’s all good.

Edit after response from owner: here is the deduction taken out on the 12th of March 2024 for the 1991 Chevrolet Corvette. I was a customer, however conveniently I didn’t get any written report, just a phone call saying it’s in pretty good condition. I would’ve emailed you this but you don’t have an email on your website.

I love Adamstown Car Doctors. I’ve been taking my car there for years. They are alway very helpful & obliging. They explain very clearly any work that needs to be done and alway have the work done on time. The office staff are lovely too. I would highly recommend Adamstown Car Doctors.

Excellent service, will definitely return. I came in panicked for the health of my car and the team fit me in on very little notice. The mechanics were kind and took time to hear the problem and give me advice, and then worked very quickly and professionally to fix it. The girls on front desk were so kind and helpful too and really made the whole experience of booking so much nicer. Pricing was very reasonable but beyond that they just did a great job!
