The last clinic I went to the trainer told me that my horse was a nutcase, was abused in his earlier life and would always be a problem. Things never improved from there, to the point where a year ago I gave up and left him to live his life down in the back paddock with his mates.

A friend told me about Adam Sutton and pressured me to give one of his clinic’s a try, so with a fairly large degree of skepticism I paid my money and headed off to Springfield.

The clinic was well organised and Adam’s no BS approach, coupled with his somewhat dry sense of humour provided plenty of entertainment over the weekend.

From the start I was taken by Adam’s low energy and his calmness in dealing with the most difficult horses. I had previously thought I had a low energy approach, but Adam has helped me to take this to a whole new level and I have learnt to work with, rather than against my horse.

Adam worked with and rode every horse at the clinic and the results achieved with a number of highly strung and anxious horses was remarked on by everyone in attendance.

Thanks Adam, I have fallen in love with my horse again and look forward to catching up at the next clinic.

If there was an option to give 6 stars I would! I took my new horse of 4 weeks along to a 4 day mindfulness clinic at the beautiful Kilmore Equestrian Centre. The entire time we felt supported and cared for, and the many hours that goes into planning such a useful program was evident. Adam has an incredible gift with horses, and worked with every horse and rider with compassion, understanding and without judgement. Attendees were all there for different reasons, and riders and horses all differed in levels of experience but the way the clinic was run truly catered for everyone. The environment was open, calm, well organised and encouraged everyone to willingly get out of their comfort zone to learn and explore a new relationship with their horses. Our lovely group shared so many laughs, vulnerabilities, tears and supportive hugs and I'm looking forward to the next one in a few months time to further explore and advance with my horse. Thank you Mel, Tanya and Adam for providing such an amazing experience xx

Adam, Mel and Tanja have put together an incredible and unique clinic format using a holistic approach supporting both horse and rider. The way in which Adam communicates and instructs is incredibly clear which enabled me to retain so much more information to take home and continue on with mine and my horse's education. Tanja provided multiple mindset sessions which where supportive, nurturing and kind - allowing every participant to explore where they were, why they were there and ways to get where they want to be. If there's something Mel can't pull out of a hat at a second's notice I'd be surprised! She's a superwoman and so very kind. These guys gave more of their time and effort than I could have hoped for and went well and above and beyond to make sure I could get to their clinic with a horse that was challenging to load. Thank you to each of you for everything that I have walked away with from the Mindset Clinic. x
