Adam took us through the wonders of Karajini and his expertise and support were second to none. Having spent many years going to Karajini, Adam knew the best locations and the best time of day to photograph in each location which was invaluable as alone we would have had no chance of getting into the wonderful places he took us. I would happily recommend him as a tour guide and mentor for anyone interested in travel and photography.

Spending 6 days in the rugged but stunning Karijini eco retreat with "Adam Monk", was such an experience. Besides the beauty of the place, Adam was there every step of the way. Supporting, explaining where and how, helping with camera settings, with where the best spot for the tripod. At no time he pushed his views but let each one of us achieve what we thought is the composition and the mood of the photo he or she wanted at the time . Editing in the afternoon was such a pleasure to learn from a professional and ,to improve the shot we took in the morning, to see it evolve into a piece of art ( in my eyes at least). !!So in other words, having a tour with Adam was my first but, will not be the last. He's a professional artist, a decent human being, a protector of the environment ( even the simple Spinifex) a lover of gum trees and a lover of light .....Thank you Adam for an amazing experience that will be with me forever.

With three friends I joined Adam for a week at Karajini in August 2020, and would highly recommend his professionalism and thorough organisational skills -- as well as practical advice on all aspects of the trip from clambering down gorges, to camera settings and then post-processing the results during the heat of the day when the light for photography was too intense.
Adam had arrived several days ahead of us and checked out each likely location to refresh his knowledge of the best angles and times, blocked roads and other details. His full attention was on the clients, and he only took iPhone photos of the sites to help give us ideas -- unlike some who use such opportunities for their own catalogues.
Would be very happy to travel with him again!

Adam’s magical adventure through Bhutan for the November festivals in 2023 was a truly stunning experience that I had been waiting for decades to do. Full of information, culture, laughs, friendship and of course endless photographic opportunities and help, this was for me the very best way to experience this extraordinary country. Well done Adam and your gorgeous team of guides and drivers for making this trip I wonderful memory I shall never forget.

What a fabulous 11 day photographic tour exploring Northwest Tasmania with Adam, Paul and 4 other keen photographers! Everything from the schedule to the accommodation and the locations we photographed was perfect. Adam's organisation and planning meant everything went like clockwork and the fact that we were able to stay in locations for more than one night made for a relaxed tour. Adam's photographic expertise was most helpful and by the end of the tour I was far more knowledgeable and confident than I was when it started. We would highly recommend Adam's tours!

In 2017 my wife, Honi, and I were lucky enough to undertake a photo tour of Iceland with Adam. It was a truly memorable trip. We got to see and photograph some really spectacular landscapes. In all this Adam provided individual advice and shared many tips and tricks that really enabled us to enhance our skills as photographers. In addition, Adam's follow up and his recent 2022 Photo Live workshop have allowed me to successfully tackle the mysteries of Photographic printing.

It's now 2023 and I have just taken a further trip to Karijini Nation park with Adam Monk. Absolutely recommend the trip, the stunning scenery, the accommodation, the unique locations that with Adam's expertise resulted in so many Wow shots. The technical advice provided further enhanced my skill as a photographer. Adam provides individual advice on tripod setups, camera settings, appropriate lens, Lightroom tips and how to best adjust all of this equipment to provide shots to remember.

The Karijini National Park had been on my "TO DO" list for some years. I joined 3 other tour members with Adam , and the 6 days in isolated Nth West W.A. met all my expectations. The time Adam put into the pre tour planning, resulted in the tour running like clockworks from the time he greeted us, to the time he returned us safely to fly home.
ACCOMMODATION - uncrowded glamping tents, scattered thu out the resort, were comfortable and included ensuites. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and provided an international flavour to the resort.
FOOD - Menus provided hearty breakfasts after early morning starts, packed nutritious lunches on days we were away from the resort and the night meal served in a congenial atmosphere.
PHOTOGRAPHY - Adam ensured we arrived for the spectacular morning & evening shots of Snappy Gums, gorges, lookouts & waterfalls with adequate time to set up camera and tripods.
ENVIRONMENT - Enjoyed seeing the vegetation I had not encountered before, and the amazing star filled quiet night skies, that only the Australian outback can display.
SAFETY - A group of 4 allowed for a lot of 1 on 1 time with Adam and provided uncrowded photography where some pools and gorges had limited accessibility and a degree of difficulty to reach them....... but it was well worth the effort.
I recommend this tour crafted and run by Adam Monk highly.

Bhutan was the first and in many ways the best group I have travelled with. Travelling and living at between 2500 and 4000 Mts up the Himilayers is physically difficult but Adam and his team of local guides and drivers made the experience so exciting, from the land slides to the view and visit to the extraordinary Tigers Nest Temple. Adam's assistance was available at all times throughout the groups' travels in Bhutan. I learnt more about my camera and photography with Adam than at any other time.
