I would say the room was very nice for a family outing and Simon's service was very good, showing us the garden outside. However, the facilities need to be double checked, for example, the trash can is broken and the milk in the fridge is opened, so if you don't pay attention to it, you may drink it. I hope we can pay attention to this.

We stayed at their beautiful little unit called The Deck; with lovely hardwood features and a spacious timber kitchen with full-size fridge. Excellent value for money and a beautiful seaside location; about 10 mins drive to Port Arthur Historic site. The beds were comfy, with crisp white linen and fresh-scented pillows.
The kids and I enjoyed playing Scrabble til midnight. The electric heatpump kept us cosy and warm.
The bathroom had a massive shower and the grout was immaculately clean.
The exterior deck had outdoor furniture and its own BBQ. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back and stay longer next time.

Abs by the bay is a beautiful location for everything you might want and need! to say you have never stayed here is to say you've never lived!! such a beautiful location with incredible sunset views and incredible helpful and friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend for your next stay

We enjoyed 3 nights in the Tasman Unit (1 bedroom), where we had everything we needed. Great location -- easy to get to all the sights on the peninsula. Simon and Hilary are terrific hosts -- friendly and welcoming, eager to make sure you have eveything you might need. Watching the sunset on the waterfront is a lovely way to end a day. We would definitely return. Many thanks!

Abs on the bay is absolutely amazing. Simon is such a fantastic guy, nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend this beautiful accommodation to everyone. We are spending 3 magical nights here in the Tasman Cottage. Thanks so much Simon & Hilary for making our last stay in Tassie so memorable.?

Great base for exploring the Tasman peninsula. We stayed in the smaller skipper room which is the motel sized unit and also shown the larger two bed room self contained unit. All very neat and well appointed. Host was very friendly and welcoming. The personalised welcome sign outside the unit was a nice surprise. Thanks Simon, we loved your place by the bay.

We stayed here for two nights in a two bedroom cottage whilst exploring the Port Arthur site. The hosts were very friendly and the unit was so comfortable, with almost everything we needed. It was really lovely to come back to after a day spent traipsing around the Port Arthur site in the heat (the unit had air conditioning).|We also loved wandering down through the property to look out over the bay at twilight, it was pretty magical. |With not a huge array of places to eat out in the area (particularly suitable for kids), be aware that the only cooking facilities are a microwave, electric hotplate and electric frypan (the latter two not overly hot) and you will need to buy supplies before you reach the Port Arthur area as the local supermarkets don't have a huge range of goods available.|

Great place to stay! We stayed in the Skipper suite and it was comfortable clean and perfectly situated. The location is a fantastic place to sit and watch the sunset.
