What an amazing and historical property to visit. Do yourself a favour and visit this amazing home if you are in Bathurst.
Chris , the host who owns and lives in the home is a true story teller who will have you hanging on every word as he describes the history of this incredible home.
It’s a massive home steeped in history with a decor that will take you back in time.
We loved every inch of it. Walking the grounds is a treat and makes you feel like you are in a period movie.
This is a MUST if you are visiting Bathurst. You will be blown away

This place is amazing, so much history here and the family that own it have opened it up to the public for viewing.

It is a grand house from the early 1840s with Scottish Baronial architecture.

Beautiful mansion, couldn’t see the whole house as some areas were restricted bcz the family lives there. Good to visit if you are around Bathurst area and interested in architecture and history.

Very nice area with a vibrant house. The owner family still lives there and the people still work there as part of daily errands. So many exciting heritage and nostalgic items around the house and nice car collection.

A beautiful mansion built in the mid 19th century. I was fortunate to visit on the annual Scottish Day. It was fabulous with lone pipers, a pipe band, singers and dancers.

The house itself is fascinating and nearly every room was open.

I will visit again.

This place is full of amazingly gorgeous historical items from around the globe the house itself is an architectural wonder. They are always improving, renovating and restoring. Currently underway are renovations to include a cafe which will be wonderful. Also fingers crossed that the guide book with details of many of the objects will be finished soon. Looking forward to reading more about the house history and contents Christopher ?
