Can't rate highly enough this exquisite BnB in Gloucester. The room was tastefully decorated with a huge comfy bed giving us a really good nights sleep. We had opted for the 2 course dinner served to us on the veranda. We selected Sri Lankan curries which were amazing!! Then in the morning, we had a beautiful gourmet breakfast, also served on the veranda. Would highly recommend staying here, and definitely opt for the dinner to experience Sue's fabulous curries!

Perfect stopover in Gloucester! We arrived to a very nice and comfortable home. Sue made some beautiful Sri Lankan curry for dinner, we ate it all! After a comfortable sleep we had breakfast on the balcony with a nice view. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a superior bed and breakfast. The hosts Sue and Jim previously ran a restaurant, and have high service standards delivered in a quiet but friendly professional manner. There is a comfortable sitting room and huge bathroom. Would suit two couples as it can be set up so the sitting room is shared, while the bedrooms remain separate and private. We had a generous afternoon tea on the porch, then dinner which was Sri Lankan curries - very nice! Breakfast was nicely presented. Overall a very pleasant experience and great value.

From the moment we called for a reservation, Sue our friendly hostess, made us feel welcome. We made a last minute decision to stay over in Gloucester on our way from Brisbane to Sydney and certainly did not regret it. The Aliya room was perfect for a 1 night stay for a couple. Spotlessly clean with a large king size bed and ensuite, it had a door on to the veranda and plenty of privacy. We were greeted with afternoon tea, including yummy home made shortbread and Christmas cake. Having partaken of far too much Christmas fare, we didn't take advantage of the Sri Lankan cooking that everyone refers to, but took a visit to the local supermarket. Sue graciously supplied us with cutlery, plates and napkins, so we were able to enjoy a quiet meal on the little table and chairs set up in the spacious room.||We were able to make the most of the beautiful sunny morning that we awoke to, enjoying a fabulous breakfast on the veranda. After some valuable advice from Sue on where we should go walking, and armed with salt from her kitchen to rid us of any leeches, we were able to set out and enjoy our day.||When we arrived, I was surprised that no other reviewer had made reference to the railway line and station nearby - I have to confess I was a little concerned. But I had absolutely no cause to worry. We slept like babies, only waking up to the sounds of birds in the trees outside our window.

We fled there when we finally reached the end of house renovations and of getting it on the market. Laid up for 4 days to recover. We had stayed there before. Chose to go there in preference to Port Douglas or Fiji. Jim and Sue looked after us superbly. Very well appointed and comfortable. Eat in when available: Sri Lankan food the specialty but Western very good too. We find the lounge room wonderful for stays longer than 2 days.||Returned to Sydney restored and rejuvenated.

Jim and Sue exceeded all of our expectations. They both went out of their way to ensure we were catered for in every respect. Their experience in the Industry is evident with every interaction with them - true professionals of the highest calibre. ||The Aliya suite was impeccably tidy and very comfortable. We travelled with our 9 month old baby and she was catered for as well as us.||The food: both breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea was divine.||A truly first class B n B. Thanks for a memorable stay in the beautiful town of Gloucester.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in the Kandy Suite. Sue and Jim are perfect hosts. Rooms were of generous size, clean and comfortable. Superb meals were eaten on our own personal veranda space over looking the garden. The inclusive breakfast are delicious and filling.

Very comfortable B&B, with gorgeous verandah to sit and watch the view. Friendly owners, and with your own entrance to come and go, very private also. We had the larger bedroom, which came with it's own living room and bathroom, and it's own access to verandah. We were greeted with a complimentary afternoon tea, which helped revive us after our fun country drive to get to Gloucester
