We had the most amazing experience exploring Fraser Island with this company. A huge shout out to our amazing tour guide Jason, who was an absolute book of knowledge on the island. It was amazing to see how passionate he was and kept us all entertained during the long drives. My 8 year old son Jacob said "Jason is the most kindest person he's ever met". Our kids would have usually kicked up a stink travelling that far but Jason kept them interested in the surroundings and we all learnt to much from his wealth of knowledge. McKenzie lake was definitely our favourite part of the tour. Pure white sand and crystal clear water. We all loved and and would thoroughly recommend this tour ❤️

We recently visited Kgari with Adventure Tours, I have no hesitation in giving the company 5 stars. Robyn, with whom I communicated with to book the trip was so helpful. The organisation of the trip was great from start to finish, with clear communication despite our fairly last minute booking. Our guide, Al, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and made our experience even more special by playing a didgeridoo in the forest. We were lucky to see whales migrating and dingo on the trip. Although it was a little pricey it’s an experience not to be missed.

My family and I had a beautiful day visiting K’gari, with our tour operator Dave.
The buses/groups are small and personalised, the experience was equal parts relaxed and informative. You don’t realise how special the island is until you visit; and it’s not an easy trip without a guide and appropriate vehicle, and this group have nailed it. Absolutely recommend to anyone who loves the magic of nature.

David absolutely made our experience. It was so informative and important to hear about K'gari Island and the history of the island. He mentioned 'sand' once or twice, his music taste was hilarious and he just brought the perfect energy to our group. You could tell he LOVES his job and it shone through so effortlessly. Thank you David for being such a legend, for driving us so safely when it was a little tricky, for laughing with us and for sharing your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book.

We do not recommend this activity… I don’t understand why so few people mention this in their reviews. You’re literally paying just to spend a day in the car. There was only a 5-minute stop at the shipwreck, then 30 minutes to eat and see Lake (and sole toilet stops). We thought we’d be able to swim and really enjoy the island, but that wasn’t the case—we spent 8 hours in the car and only 35 minutes outside. We kind of feel like we wasted a day of our road trip… However, the staff was absolutely lovely despite all this.

Incredible experience with the guide Roger! K'gari turned out to be more than expected. It's such a magical place. The tour was incredible. They do tell you it's just a taste of a little part of the island, so you end up wanting to stay more. But all the explanations are worth it because you can appreciate the island in a different way than if you are on your own. Now we want to come back some day. We definitely recommend their tour. They were super punctual and friendly. Thank you!!!

We had an amazing day on nature tour. We have been really lucky to be hosted by David. He was so enthusiast and passionate by the island :p David did lots of extra short stops or slow down to explain small histories about the island but also about the threes or animals. Sitting next to him in the cabin we also realised than it seems funny to drive a truck on sand but definitely not easy when it's a rush against the tide. We would definitely have been less with a rental 4x4 that what we did with the bus/truck and missed a lots of explanations ! Thanks again David was a pleasure to meet you 😉
