A Bundaberg visitor or local, it doesn't matter. As a film maker that has travelled the world I have rarely been entertained so thoroughly and so enjoyably as on my cruise with Bundy Belle down the Burnett River.
The crew call it the Fish and Chip cruise for good reason. That's what you get for lunch. But there's more, much more. The entertainment is top notch and it covers all three hours.
Dale (Skipper) and his wife Lisa are simply hosts extrordanaire. The music is brilliant, sung by Dino, joined and applauded by the entire passenger manifesto and supported by Dale on his saxophone just when needed.
Make the trip to Bundaberg, make a booking with Bundy Belle, and enjoy life as it's meant to be.

Great boat trip with some pretty sad DAD joke to boot. The trip leaves from the banks of the river with a cafe and garden with flame trees and roses. The boat is clean and tidy for the age of the boat. Didn’t use the loo but it had one. Severed free tea and coffee and a cake

From being greeted by Lisa ( who kindly suggested I bring a jacket because it gets cold on the top deck) to a welcome “mind your head” from skipper Dale, our day on the Bundy Belle was very pleasant.
We were entertained with some local music and an informative chat about the local history by Dale.
A couple of “dad” jokes for a laugh.
Lisa took tea and coffee orders- and delivered same.

The river was a millpond and there were plenty of birds there to enjoy it too.
We loved our leisurely trip on the Bundy Belle.

There is nothing quite like messing about on the river… The 2 hour journey along the Burnet River on the Bundy Belle was bliss. The sun was shining, the seats were surprisingly comfortable & the scenery was excellent.
The couple that run the tour are friendly & organised. He piloted the boat & gave a commentary on the history of the river & buildings along the banks, including the Australian natives & early settlers, all interspersed with the odd joke, comical & old Australian songs… very enjoyable, not boring at all.
She offered light refreshments, that were included in the price, we had a can of soft drink each, along with biscuits & a lamington cake yumm.
The boat offers indoor & roof top seating, plus the outdoor seating at the back of the boat where we chose to sit. Don’t forget your sunscreen & enjoy!

We cannot speak highly enough of Lisa, Dale and the crew. We just keep on coming back for our annual Christmas parties. One of our team is in a wheelchair and we booked a sunset cruise on board the new addition, the Bundy Belle II. What a fantastic vessel. Easy to board, enough space to move around the cabin with ease and a good sized disabled toilet on board. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We had the good fortune of booking a trip on the Bundy Belle this week. A wonderful way to enjoy time on the Burnett River, whilst being looked after by Lisa and informed and entertained by Captain of the Bundy Belle, Dale.

Dale’s commentary and local knowledge was a highlight. Lisa exuded warmth and personal interest in her passengers whilst arranging our morning tea preferences .The coffee was lovely and hot and the biscuits and lamingtons were much appreciated. It was wonderful to see Lisa’s warm interaction with everyone on board. We have had customer orientated businesses and appreciate the great customer experience that Lisa offers her guests.

We encourage anyone thinking of this trip to make a booking and enjoy a warm and personal experience whilst gaining knowledge of the local area.

Not a lot going on along this river, just lovely cruise along. The crew were amazing and the captain was a wonderful storyteller and full of local knowledge. Met some lovely fellow passengers and although we had a very stormy cruise, we had a lovely time. Certainly made it exciting.

Spotted The Bundybelle while having lunch at Grunskes and decided to follow a great lunch with a relaxing trip on the river. Very glad we did it was an extremely enjoyable couple of hours with great service from the crew, a great informative commentary from the skipper (with humour ) and songs about the area from well known country singers
