Tina was very communicative and responsive throughout the wedding planning process. We selected the full wedding package, which ended up being just what we needed. My wife and I both had busy schedules, and Tina did a good job with keeping us on schedule and reminding us to do things when needed. She helped us coordinate with vendors, which was especially helpful when persistence was needed. Tina helped us find vendors that worked well for us and were reliable. Seeing as we had some ideas for the wedding, but were inexperienced with planning this type of event, she helped us create the wedding we wanted in terms of synergy of design and personable details. We wanted to tie in parts of our Cantonese heritage into the wedding, and she was able to blend aspects of that into our wedding along with western traditions. On the wedding day, Tina and her team were well-prepared and very professional throughout the day. She was patient with guest questions and found solutions whenever unexpected things came up. Overall, the wedding we had in mind during the wedding process came into reality on the wedding day.

We hired Tina and In the Clouds Event as our month-of coordinator for our Los Angeles wedding. My husband and I are both from LA but currently live on the east coast. Planning a wedding from across the country is not easy but Tina helped guide as along the way. Tina makes great use of technology. I was impressed with the accessibility of her website; it is user-friendly and I liked that I could make secure payments with my credit card. We corresponded easily through email, texts, and phone calls and held our meetings conveniently through Google Hangout. The details on our wedding Google spreadsheet covered everything you could imagine! Tina is a very meticulous and detail-oriented person and that was very reassuring for us. Her expertise allowed her to make recommendations on things we would never think of.

Tina and her team also worked closely with my other vendors and we greatly appreciated that. This allowed everything to flow so smoothly on the day of the wedding despite our jam-packed schedule - we had our rehearsal, tea ceremony, ceremony and reception all in one day! A few days after the event we discovered there was an issue with guest parking at our venue, however Tina continued to aid us in resolving it.

There is no way you can keep a wedding organized without a coordinator and Tina's team was there to make sure we enjoyed every moment of ours. In speaking with other friends who worked with coordinators for their wedding, none seems to hold a candle to Tina and her team. We definitely recommend In the Clouds Events!

I was recommended to use In the Clouds Events by a friend who used Tina for her wedding. Both my friend and I are type-A kind of gals and I knew if my friend could work with Tina, then I would be able too. I'm totally glad I did!

Throughout 2020, we completely paused wedding planning and were kind of discouraged to keep planning. However, Tina continued to stay positive and kept us stay optimistic. Tina kept us in the loop of the county restrictions throughout the year, and helped navigate the changes needed for the wedding.

My husband and I got married in May 2021 and was fortunate enough that we didn't have to move our wedding date due to the pandemic. Our wedding was PERFECT! This was due to Tina's detailed organizational skills. We were on schedule throughout the day, vendors were on time, and everything looked just the way we discussed and imagined it to be. Tina even helped add small hidden Mickey Mouse details throughout wedding. She was nice enough to make me a small decal to stick under my heels (She's so sweet!).

I have to mention that me and my husband were no where near stressed out throughout wedding planning and on the day of the wedding. We had full confidence that Tina and her team were taking care of it. In the Clouds did a fantastic job and I would choose Tina and her team over and over for the rest of my parties.

Once I got engaged, I immediately started looking for our wedding coordinator. This was early 2021- where the COVID pandemic still did not hold big events. Things fell through with a previous planner, but I am so glad it happened. It led me to Tina, and the rest is history. Our reception venue recommended her, and I immediately noticed why she was a preferred vendor.

I am a rigidly-organized and detailed oriented person - so once Tina and I got started - tons of fun and magic began! Some of the things she provided: productive in-person/virtual meetings, super-organized spreadsheets/checklists, timely reminders, responsive emails/texts and sound advice. I was so impressed! She even provided some of her own items and inventory to add beautiful touches to our decor. We also added several of her recommendations, such as DJ, photobooth, rentals, and bakery to our wonderful vendor team!

Planning the biggest day of my life was very difficult and incredibly stressful, but working alongside Tina made the entire process very fun and enjoyable. I confided in her so much, where she was so understanding and focused the entire time. I am forever indebted to her & the entire team (Sidnee, Dandi, and Cindy) for making my wedding day a dream come true.

As we sit down to write this online review of our wedding planner, Tina Li, it is difficult to describe our full appreciation of her. When we first met Tina, we knew we had met the right person! She had this energy and warmth that was absolutely contagious. Tina was extremely organized even during our first consultation visit with questionnaires, checklists, and spreadsheets. She kept us on track with each aspect of the wedding starting from the first day we decided to hire her up until our actual wedding day. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and daunting with all the options available for each aspect of the wedding. Tina was always able to incorporate all of our information for our ideal wedding and create a final product that was not only feasible, but phenomenal. She really took the time to get to know us, and to know our story. She helped up make our wedding have personal touches that made it unique and made it ours. She also helped us try and stay under budget. Tina also provided us with constructive feedback if an idea was not best option. She was always readily available for us to contact her through either text or email, all while juggling her own personal and family life with two kids!

The actual wedding day can sometimes be very stressful. Tina made sure to continuously communicate with us the day before and throughout our wedding day. She made sure that all the pieces were in place and we were to just enjoy this special moment in our lives. Our wedding day had some surprises as well with a change in forecast due to rainy weather. Tina was quick with her decision making and was able to make the necessary adjustments to the schedule and the venue. She really helped us make the rest of the day go smoothly. Tina made sure that we actually got to eat, dance, and fully enjoy our wedding day!

Again, there are not enough words to describe the fantastic work that Tina Li and her staff at In the Clouds Events produced for our wedding. We highly recommend her for everyone looking for a wedding planner! You will not regret your decision and will be able to enjoy your wedding day without the stress.

Tina was a pleasure to work with and we are so grateful to have had her as our wedding coordinator. We knew instantly after our initial meeting that we would be in good hands. Her preparation and attention to detail was invaluable to us in our planning, as we really needed the guidance. She is extremely organized and kept us on track throughout the entire wedding planning process. We were able to bounce our ideas off of her - any question/task we faced she was able to help us through it all. The main reason why we decided to look for a wedding coordinator was because our venue did not provide one. We needed someone who we could trust to work with all the vendors. Tina and her team went above and beyond what we expected. Tina was reliable, easy to work with, and a joy to be around. She was always professional and patient with us every step of the way.

On the day of our wedding, there were a few minor hiccups that we only heard about after the wedding because she did not bother us with it if it wasn't important. Tina took care of handling everything and truly wanted us to just enjoy the day stress-free. She checked-in with us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed. She kept us all on schedule and had our best interests in mind.

Not only is it an absolute necessity to have a Day Of Coordinator, it is one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. We can't imagine how on Earth we would have put together our wedding without Tina! She and her staff were instrumental in making our wedding incredible. Tina is very well-organized and had everything well planned. The vendors she recommended were all excellent and very professional. Her suggestions for activities and entertainment at our wedding were unique and impressive! We still have people gushing about how amazed they were that there were caricature artists and a magician at our cocktail hour and reception! Tina and her staff made our wedding day wonderful! I hired Tina and her team for my wedding in October 2019. Her services started when I booked her December 2018. I’ve had the pleasure to get to know Tina throughout the 10 months. She is diligent, responsive, detailed oriented, and easy to work with. She made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. Without her, my wedding wouldn’t have gone the way it did. We had an issue where we couldn’t set up the reception area earlier than anticipated. Tina told me not to worry and handled the vendor set up like a champ! She also made sure all my DIY items for dessert table, guest sign in table, sweethearts table cloth, and etc were set up properly. Tina saw my vision and was able to recreate the wedding I wanted. Honestly, I am a big procrastinator and Tina gave me soft nudges from time to time to make sure I was on track to book my vendors and check off my tasks. I didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of since she perfected everything for me. I have and will continue to recommend Tina to everyone I need for event planning services!
