I booked over the phone not knowing what to expect. I’ve got to say I was very pleased I did. The hospitality when I arrived was fantastic, offers of dinner cooked by the owners was very much appreciated. I had a car trailer and didn’t want to leave it on the street, so I was able to park it in the yard. The room was very clean and comfortable.. If you’re needing to stay at Peak hill this is a comfortable place to stay.

Utsav and his staff were very were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to assist us in any way they could. The motel is clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Room old but clean. Bed comfortable and clean. Dog friendly.
Cons: Shower hot water was NOT hot and barely a dribble. Thought we’d stay in and get fish and chips cooked on site. At $44 for 2x, very disappointed to get generic frozen fish that we had to finish cooking it in our microwave as it was still frozen and a small handful of chips. Just a suggestion to Ustav, Perhaps a bit of salad would have been nice with it at that price? Yard/pool area also very unkempt. On main road so also noisy.

My son and me stayed for a night. The manager called us when we were running late and organised our key to be ready for us when we finally arrived. The room was very clean and they even put the heater on for us before we arrived. The room was nice and warm. When we left at 5:30am the manager came out and offered us breakfast. When we’re travelling next time we’ll definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend Golden Peak motel as Utsav and his wife cannot do enough for you making your stay memorable. An unexpected blessing of a delicious meal cooked by his wife. Room clean ,
comfortable and cosy. All the comforts of home.

A decent country style motel. Stayed for two nights earlier in June. The room was super clean, plenty of towels, milk provided and crockery and cutlery [with a microwave if you needed to heat something up].
New Manager (Utsav Rawal) and his wife were extremely helpful and supportive accommodating my requests. Free WiFi at the hotel, a lovely clean pool [ready for the hotter months] and the RSL club just down the street [you can walk to] has great chinese meals on the menu.

Also, enjoyed a fantastic meal on the Saturday night at the Tomingley Pub, it's only 15 minutes out of town at the Dubbo end, it has a great atmosphere and the fire was cranked up. In Peak Hill, the coffee, muffins, cakes, fresh pies etc at the Temple Lions Antiques and Collectables, Lolly Shop and Patisserie is the go to place, you will not find friendlier people.Check the Gold Mine and have a walk around town, so much history!
