This place is magical! I felt nothing but welcoming, proud vibes from the house and owners. We need to do more to keep treasures like this from disappearing from history. Lawrence Ryan is to be commended for being the champion of Monte Cristo House.

I had a great time, we had a lovely dinner, then the ghost tour, slept overnight, had a big breaky, walked around some more, sadly, I never saw a ghost. ? Lawrence, the guide, talks your leg off.

What an awesome experience. If you haven't been here, you should. The presenters were awesome people and the house is amazing to explore. The stories told of its history are wonderful to listen to and I wish it could have been longer... We are planning another trip down that way again soon so we can spend some more time there.

Loved it. What a place and a story. We got to meet Olive and she signed the book my wife bought. We would love to do the full night time guided tours with over night stay that they offer but, unfortunately they are booked out until late May, so if you want to do this book now.
But the homestead and the ground are worth a walk around to take in the story.

There are 4 spirits here. One really bad one is tempered to this clock. It's a battery source for the negative energy that follows patrons around. Please burn this clock, and you'll see what I mean. I'm able to feel spirits remotely, and I cleanse a lot of places just to help people, but if something is tempered to a source of power the physical item itself needs to be destroyed so that the spirit cannot recharge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay & ghost tour of Monte Cristo Homestead. Laurence & Hayley are fantastic hosts. The meal was amazing. Laurence's knowledge of the home and events that have occurred was so interesting to listen to. We would certainly go back again. The Homestead is beautiful. ! Thanks for having us. Great job

Amazing. Loved the vibe. Loved the energy. Loved chatting to the owners. What a memorable experience. While it may be Australia's most haunted homestead, I felt completely at home playing with the spirits. Saw things move. Saw orbs. Heard voices and my daughter felt her head being touched... maybe it was a spider web. Creepy but fun.
